On Tuesday, the post ISIS, Turkey and Russia: the End of Days? claimed that each major terrorist attack against the West was preceded by an intensification of terrorism in Israel. This note intends not only to support that claim but to also show that even terror attacks beyond the Western World were preceded by an intensification of Palestinian terror in the Holy Land. This fact, once again, builds a connection between Global Jihad and the so-called Palestinian Cause.
Assassination of Rabbi Meir Kahane
Occurred on the 5th of November 1990, in Brooklyn, New York. It was perpetrated in the second phase of the First Intifada (December 1987 – September 1993).
Perpetrator: El Sayyid Nosair, linked to Al-Qaeda (later on involved in the 1993 World Trade Centre Bombing).
World Trade Centre Bombing
Occurred on the 26th of February 1993. It was perpetrated on the third, and last, phase of the First Intifada.
Perpetrators: Ramzi Yousef, Mahmud Abouhalima, Mohammad Salameh, Nidal A. Ayyad, Abdul Rahman Yasin and Ahmed Ajaj (with El Sayyid Nosair's involvement); an Al-Qaeda Cell that received financing from Khaled Sheikh Mohammed.
US Embassy Bombings, Nairobi
Twin bombings that occurred on the 7th of August 1998 (one targeting the US Embassy in Nairobi [Kenya] and another one targeting the US Embassy in Dar-es-Salam [Tanzania]). The attacks were preceded by a series of terrorist attacks in Israel.
Perpetrators: Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Masterminded by Fazul Abdullah Mohammed and Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah, on behalf of Al-Qaeda. (NB: only after this attack did the world begin to pay attention to AQ and Osama Bin Laden)
A Period of Terror Attacks in the West
The Palestinian second intifada – a by-product of the Oslo Accords – lasted five years, from 2000-2005. During that ugly period the West suffered three major attacks:
9/11: on the 11th of September 2001, a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks occurred in New York (World Trade Centre), Washington DC (Pentagon) and Pennsylvania. The most lethal terror attack against a western target was carried out during the first part of the second Intifada
Perpetrators: Al-Qaeda.
11-M: on the 11th of March 2004, Spain suffered a coordinated terrorist attack (dubbed the 2004 Madrid Train bombings), three days before the general elections. These attacks were carried out during third part of the second Intifada.
Perpetrators: Al-Qaeda.
7/7: on the 7th of July 2005 London suffered a series of coordinated suicide bomb attacks, targeting civilians using the public transportation system. These terror events took place a couple of months after the end of the Intifada.
Perpetrators: Al-Qaeda.
Mombasa Attacks
On the 28th of November 2002, there were two terror attacks carried out against a Hotel and two Planes: Paradise Hotel (owned by an Israeli) was crashed through by a VBIED that killed 13 and injured 80; simultaneously two SAMs (shoulder-to-air missiles) were fired against a Boeing 757 owned by Israel-based Arkia Airlines as it took off from Moi International Airport. The Kenyan police later on linked this attack to the 1998's US Embassy attacks. The Mombasa attacks were carried out during the second phase of the second Intifada.
Perpetrators: Army of Palestine, in Lebanon, to mark the 55th anniversary of the UN Partition Plan.
Mumbai Attacks
They took place from the 26th of November to the 29th of November 2008, translating into a series of 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks (against Indian financial hubs, western and Jewish targets). The attacks were preceded by successive terrorist attacks in Israel (from January to December).
Perpetrators: Lashkar-e-Tayyba (LeT), most likely with the support of Pakistan's ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence).
Westgate Mall Attack
It took place on the 21st of September of 2013, in Nairobi, Kenya. It occurred on the same day that a terrorist attack was perpetrated in Israel (Tomer Hazan was allured to Beit Amin by a Palestinian acquaintance who killed him and threw his body into a well). (NB: the Westgate Shopping Centre is perceived as both Jewish and Western Targets)
Perpetrators: Al-Shabaab.
Paris Attacks
Charlie Hebdo was attacked on the 7th of January 2015. Hostages were taken on the 9th of January 2015, at Hyper Cacher (a Jewish target). These attacks were preceded by terrorist attacks in Israel: a car attack and the synagogue attack in November 2014.
Perpetrators: AQAP (Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula).
Paris suffered yet another attack on the 13th of November 2015 (targets: restaurants, Stade de France and the Bataclan) carried out by a cell of 12-14 individuals, some of which infiltrated Europe posing as refugees, in the latest mass wave of migrants coming from “Syria”. These attacks were preceded by a series of terrorist attacks perpetrated by Palestinians in what was called by some as the Third Intifada (or the Al-Quds Intifada), after President Abbas renounced the Oslo Accords.
Perpetrators: ISIS (the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria).
Conclusion
Mali, Tunisia and Egypt also suffered terrorist attacks during the ongoing Al-Quds Intifada. Within this context in Israel, Middle Easterners holding fake passports have been trying to reach America and the UK too.
Al-Qaeda set up a 7-Step Plan to be completed by 2020 and so far everything is going more or less according to their plan. If the Free world fails to connect the right dots and change its position soon, Al-Qaeda will have won.
Reiteration: the cause of Palestine is intimately related with Global Jihad.

Max, Israel is used as proving ground for global operations? Or maybe for them Israel is the same as the rest of the world, an invader of their 'Islamic land'! Either way we cannot deny the close relationship between the palestinians and the global jihadists, yes.

DeleteYes, that's the inference. I have also heard that argument but it's not a valid one based on historical facts. Islamic entities invaded Israel, occupied Israel for centuries after successive wars; then Jews returned, they resettled in Israel (as per international agreements) and after being attacked by Islamic entities they legitimately reconquered what's theirs. Period.
That's exactly what DS is saying here: they use Israel as a testing lab and then move on to the rest of the world. Israel is the ultimate Jewish target and if you notice closely, most Jihadist attack include a Jewish target.

One question: aren't you worried this post will back up the other camp's argument that Israel is the problem and the only way to bring peace to the world is to finish it off for good?

We are not worried about that cause that's not what this post does. What this post does is to support the claim made by Max last Tuesday, as per the introduction; but we took one step further and showed that the relationship goes beyond terror attacks in the West. Somehow, Israel/Jewish targets are always included in any Islamic terrorist strike, which is very uncomfortable to address cause then we enter the field of religious wars [a very sensitive issue, especially for separatists of state and religion]. But can we afford it to continue ignoring such facts? No, we can't cause there's a chance the Palestinian diplomatic and NGO network may be enabling and supporting Global Jihad; and if we're serious about countering Islamic terrorism then we need to confront these facts.
I hope we clarified your doubts.
I think that it is the intention of the terrorists that this link be seen.

DeleteMaking the connection public and reducing the diplomatic power of the "Palestinian" cause will complement counter-terrorism measures.
Fighting Global Jihad needs a more concerted action on all levels. Military action alone will not solve the problem (though it's an important part of the fight).
Politicians and Intel agencies need to be making this connection because ignoring it is endangering all of us. And no, it's not in the terrorists interest, or intention, to make it seen because then it may have severe consequences in their supporting network. Eventually, it will sever the nodes that feed them.

DeleteIt's more organised than this, a whole lot more (all we have to do is to read their manifestos [if you wish I can share the link of a couple of them]). We have been underestimating these guys for far too long and in the process they gained more power, more access, more funds, more recruits etc. Unless we start targeting these guys from all angles, including the Palestinian front, we will pass the war on global jihad onto the next generations.
