The Alleged Vaticine

This is the sequel of The Vaticinators.

It is way past midnight…the full moon lights the woods and a soft breeze refreshes the summer night…Gillian and Constance are in the lake, wearing long dark tunics, looking at the water:

- Poor child…she believes that there is a prophecy of some sort behind her marrying Erwin – reveals Constance.
- Indeed. And I am seeing that she’ll approach us to ask what that prophecy might be – adds Gillian
- At least half of the job is done, for (thank Heavens) she fell in love with the boy – continues the High Priestess’ assistant.
- And she will be able to protect him, when the time comes – concluded the High Priestess.

Meanwhile, Isha is in her room, meditating in the half lotus position. 30 minutes later, she opens her eyes «Aha…so the two are at the lake! I wish I could know what they are seeing…those two are such plotters; shocking!»

In the garden, Erwin looks up at Isha’s window and sees the lights on «Aaah…she can’t sleep! She’s probably thinking of me! I noticed how she quivered upon my touch…what a delicate flower!» then he turns to look at the moon and think of a way to climb up to her room, when he suddenly hears footsteps…someone is approaching...he hides behind a huge tree. He sees his mother and grandmother walking towards the house, all soaked and wet [“Don’t these two ever sleep?” he asks himself] «Don’t even think about climbing that window, Erwin! Good night!» says Gillian «Good night, grandma!», «Good night, sweetie!» «Good night, mom!» he replies from behind the old oak, while closing his eyes bearing a totally embarrassed expression on his face…

The sun is high, and the heat is at its peak. The High Priestess and her assistant are out to visit Isha’s father, the great Druid, and inform him of his daughter’s progress. This means that the love birds were left alone at the house.

The young initiate is in the library studying “Volancy” and her husband-to-be is in the living room reading “The revolt (story of the Irgun)” by Menachem Begin. 3 hours later, Isha rises from her chair and walks up to the living-room; she stands by the door, observing Erwin: he lies on the black couch (clad in a white shirt and Indigo jeans) with a pillow under his head; his bare feet over a pile of pillows [“His feet are perfectly carved and smooth” she thinks]; his left hand holds the book, while the right one rests on his well toned abs (moving only to turn the pages); his face is as tranquil as the waters of the lake, yet his eyes twinkle at each savoured word; his hair…his beautiful red wavy hair…[she sighs aloud]...

Upon this sigh, the young man looks over his book, smirks and asks «Enjoying the view?» Isha chuckles and replies «You are so full of yourself, it’s unbelievable! But yes, I am enjoying the view! Like the song says “it’s a nice package alright, I think I’m gonna have to ride it tonight!”» Erwin fills the air with a scandalously loud laughter and completes her quote «It’s all for you!» gets up from the couch, walks up to her, holds her from the back of her neck (drawing her to him) and kisses her passionately…

Evening time…Gillian is in her chambers, reading; when Isha knocks on the door «Come in, child!» Isha enters the room «May we exchange some words, Lady Gillian?» «But of course, dear; please, take a seat!» Isha sits…

- I’m rather curious about the reason why I saw myself married to Erwin. And if I did, it’s because there is a Higher Purpose for it.

Gillian pierces her with her blue eyes [and everyone knew what that meant]…Isha looks her straight in the eye and waits for her answer. 5 minutes later, Constance replies standing at the door:

- Why, child…the reason is quite simple: you love my son! Besides, if we look extremely interested in this union is because you have a good pelvis to bear children…there’s no fantastic vaticine in this case, I’m afraid!

  1. Hello Maximus!

    We continue the saga…..

Well it certainly seems to be a case of nepotism in the leadership and plotting!!!

    Ohhh the lies!!!!!!

The Druid is clearly a spy but they must know this and so feed him disinformation!

In order for the sisterhood to get the desired genetic results they NEED Erwin and Isha to blend their genetic information which you clearly alluded to with the comment about his “Indigo jeans” clever the way you did that!!!! Plus they will need her to protect the progeny…the male baby that can be everywhere and go where they cannot go….

This is the plan the sisterhood has been working towards since its foundation!!!!

Yet they must realize that as Isha is a special as she is she knows at least some of this!!!

The question is this what will Isha do with this knowledge…will she change her biomolecular structure during conception of the child? Will she change the transfer of information thru the RNA to the DNA? Will she defy the sisterhood and change the gender to female!!!?? When she has the child will she then teach him the ways of the sisterhood? Will he be able to prove to the sisterhood that he is human? Will he be able to control the Empire?

Maximus you provide a lustrous tapestry intentionally leaving an assortment of threads brandished so as to provide multitudinous opportunities for adaptations and permutations…very nicely crafted my wordsmith friend….

  2. Hello LS!

"Well it certainly seems to be a case of nepotism in the leadership and plotting!!!" - you might be right...and that is what makes it extremely interesting...

"Ohhh the lies!!!!!!" - LOL LOL are they damaging lies?

"The Druid is clearly a spy but they must know this and so feed him disinformation!" - you think so? Hmmm...that is a nice interpretation of it (I hadn't thought of it)...

"In order for the sisterhood to get the desired genetic results they NEED Erwin and Isha to blend their genetic information which you clearly alluded to with the comment about his “Indigo jeans” clever the way you did that!!!!" - are you alluding to the generation Indigo? :)

"Plus they will need her to protect the progeny…the male baby that can be everywhere and go where they cannot go…." - why would you say that it is a male baby? For all we know it could be a female baby...now, wouldn't that be something? lol

"This is the plan the sisterhood has been working towards since its foundation!!!!" - man, you are good! You got it!

"Yet they must realize that as Isha is a special as she is she knows at least some of this!!!" - they do realise that; however since she is young and still has so much to learn, they don't want her to be focused on that...they want her to learn and learn, and practice and practice.

"The question is this what will Isha do with this knowledge…will she change her biomolecular structure during conception of the child? Will she change the transfer of information thru the RNA to the DNA?" - what is written is written...not even the special child can alter that.

"Will she defy the sisterhood and change the gender to female!!!?? When she has the child will she then teach him the ways of the sisterhood?" - why would you think that the special kid is male, LS? I am not sure that is his/her fate...I think it is about the something else...

"Will he be able to prove to the sisterhood that he is human? Will he be able to control the Empire?" - but he/she is coming out of two humans, of course he/she is human; wouldn't you think so :)? If it is written that he/she will....

"Maximus you provide a lustrous tapestry intentionally leaving an assortment of threads brandished so as to provide multitudinous opportunities for adaptations and permutations…very nicely crafted my wordsmith friend…." - thank you so much, my friend *bowing*!

And I thank you for this awesome interpretation (one of the best I have ever read - your views on this would make a great book all alone lol) :D! You definitely rock *High Five*!

    Cheers

  3. Hi Max,
    Happy Maxday my darling.

OMG, Isha was chosen because she has a "good" pelvis. What are they measuring? What if she doesn't want children? What if she wants to travel the world to discover her talents?

    Okay, let me back up.

"Gillian and Constance are in the lake, wearing long dark tunics, looking at the water."

Why are they in the lake? Why are they wearing tunics? Are they doing laundry? Are they taking their version of a sauna? Did they realized that they couldn't walk "on" water so they are walking "in" water? Why oh why?

"At least half of the job is done, for (thank Heavens) she fell in love with the boy – continues the High Priestess’ assistant. And she will be able to protect him, when the time comes – concluded the High Priestess."

Ah, I see. The lake is where they make their love potion. I got it now.

"Meanwhile, Isha is in her room, meditating in the half lotus position. 30 minutes later, she opens her eyes «Aha…so the two are at the lake! I wish I could know what they are seeing…those two are such plotters; shocking!»"

If she has a sense of where they are, wouldn't she also be able to hear their thoughts telepathically? Or is Isha not as advance as you and I?

"In the garden, Erwin looks up at Isha’s window and sees the lights on «Aaah…she can’t sleep! She’s probably thinking of me! I noticed how she quivered upon my touch…what a delicate flower!»"

Maybe his hands were cold when he touched her? Anyone would quiver. (LOL)

"then he turns to look at the moon and think of a way to climb up to her room,"

Do men still do that these days? Wouldn't he just call her on her cellphone and tell her to meet him outside?

"He sees his mother and grandmother walking towards the house, all soaked and wet [“Don’t these two ever sleep?” he asks himself] «Don’t even think about climbing that window, Erwin! Good night!» says Gillian «Good night, grandma!», «Good night, sweetie!» «Good night, mom!» he replies from behind the old oak, while closing his eyes bearing a totally embarrassed expression on his face…"

LOL. Didn't he know that the women could see and hear through trees?

They are left alone and ALL they do is read?

"Erwin lies on the black couch (clad in a white shirt and Indigo jeans) with a pillow under his head; his bare feet over a pile of pillows [“His feet are perfectly carved and smooth..."

Thank God. There is nothing like a man with smooth feet, otherwise a woman can wake up with cuts on her legs. (Not a good look when wearing a dress.)

"his left hand holds the book, while the right one rests on his well toned abs (moving only to turn the pages); his face is as tranquil as the waters of the lake, yet his eyes twinkle at each savoured word; his hair…his beautiful red wavy hair…[she sighs aloud]..."

    Sighing with her. Ahhhh.

"Upon this sigh, the young man looks over his book, smirks and asks «Enjoying the view?» Isha chuckles and replies «You are so full of yourself, it’s unbelievable! But yes, I am enjoying the view!"

    So am I.

"Like the song says “it’s a nice package alright, I think I’m gonna have to ride it tonight!”»"

ROFL. (Grabbing for the tissue for my eyes.) Who sings that song?

"Erwin fills the air with a scandalously loud laughter and completes her quote «It’s all for you!» gets up from the couch, walks up to her, holds her from the back of her neck (drawing her to him) and kisses her passionately…"

    That's more like it. Passion.

"I’m rather curious about the reason why I saw myself married to Erwin. And if I did, it’s because there is a Higher Purpose for it.
Why, child…the reason is quite simple: you love my son! Besides, if we look extremely interesting in this union is because you have a good pelvis to bear children…there’s no fantastic vaticine in this case, I’m afraid!"

Maybe that IS the higher purpose to have children. Isha and Erwin may be destined to bear children together, teach them the ways of love and help them navigate the spiritual path. Sometimes when we look for bigger revelations, we overlook those that seem to be a "smaller" purposes, but in the end are our greatest achievements.

    Awesome post my dear.

    Higher Purpose Cheers.

  4. Hi Alexys! :D

"Happy Maxday my darling." - Happy Maxday, darling!

"OMG, Isha was chosen because she has a "good" pelvis. What are they measuring? What if she doesn't want children? What if she wants to travel the world to discover her talents?" - LOL LOL well, what is written is written; and if she has to bear kids, she will. She can travel the world before or even getting married...there is no rush lol.

"Okay, let me back up." - *Max rewinding* lol....

"Why are they in the lake? Why are they wearing tunics? Are they doing laundry? Are they taking their version of a sauna? Did they realized that they couldn't walk "on" water so they are walking "in" water? Why oh why?" - LOL LOL they are scrying in the lake! They are wearing tunics cause they don't want to be caught naked by furtive hunters. It is so hot, that they could be having their version of Turkish bath LOL...

"Ah, I see. The lake is where they make their love potion. I got it now." - LOL LOL LOL love potions never work! I don't even know why people bother to make them *nodding*...

"If she has a sense of where they are, wouldn't she also be able to hear their thoughts telepathically? Or is Isha not as advance as you and I?" - No, Isha is not as advanced as you and I, girl! She is still raw lol...

"Maybe his hands were cold when he touched her? Anyone would quiver. (LOL)" - LOL LOL LOL true! But you know how males are...*nodding*!

"Do men still do that these days? Wouldn't he just call her on her cellphone and tell her to meet him outside?" - oh yeah, some still do that (incredible, right?)! Ahhh, he could call her on her cellphone if she had one...she gave up on them a long time ago LOL! Does that remind you of someone lol?

"LOL. Didn't he know that the women could see and hear through trees?" - LOL LOL LOL he didn't! How silly is that; having Gillian as a granny? LOL

"They are left alone and ALL they do is read?" - They are doing it "Nice and Slow"...some reading first and then passion time...

"Thank God. There is nothing like a man with smooth feet, otherwise a woman can wake up with cuts on her legs. (Not a good look when wearing a dress.)" - I agree! LOL LOL cuts on her legs...that is dreadful, can you imagine? LOL LOL....

"Sighing with her. Ahhhh." - it is a nice view indeed...

"So am I." - LOL LOL

"ROFL. (Grabbing for the tissue for my eyes.) Who sings that song?" - LOL (this part was specially for you). Janet Jackson sings it "All For You" such a cool beat!

"That's more like it. Passion." - LOL these kids like to take slow...LOL....

"Maybe that IS the higher purpose to have children. Isha and Erwin may be destined to bear children together, teach them the ways of love and help them navigate the spiritual path." - I think so too; but we never know with Gillian and Constance...lol.

"Sometimes when we look for bigger revelations, we overlook those that seem to be a "smaller" purposes, but in the end are our greatest achievements." - now, that is so true, my dear! People always look for the most fantastic vaticines when most of the times the prophecies are quite simple...and its results: huge!

"Awesome post my dear." - thank you so much, darling *bowing*!

And thanks for this supa-dupa comment! I laughed, I cried (of laughter), I rolled...you rock :D!

    High Achievements Cheers.

  5. Lol, getting PG13 here with the riding and everything.

The Alleged Vaticine? are they putting thoughts in her head for there own means and she is not telepathic?

What does the Great Druid have to do with anything, I think he may be pulling the strings, this is really becoming a family affair.

So anyhoo half their job is done,Isha has got it bad for Erwin it will be interesting to see if they can complete the second half of the job saving Erwin and from what, maybe himself.

Awesome max, looking forward to the next installment.

  6. Max,
"...what is written is written; and if she has to bear kids, she will."

Precisely. I guess she can always soul travel. :D

"They are wearing tunics cause they don't want to be caught naked by furtive hunters. It is so hot, that they could be having their version of Turkish bath LOL..."

Now I get it. Of course it is obvious now that you explained it further. Those furtive hunters are always on the prowl.

"I don't even know why people bother to make them."

Do people still make them? Where on earth would they buy the ingredients?

"Ahhh, he could call her on her cellphone if she had one...she gave up on them a long time ago LOL! Does that remind you of someone lol?"

No one I know. ;D The quality of cellphones in this country is atrocious. You hear every third word and have to piece together conversations.

"They are doing it "Nice and Slow" (like Usher)

"...some reading first and then passion time..."

    Priorities first. Knowledge then passion.

"...cuts on her legs...that is dreadful, can you imagine? LOL LOL...."

Some women would have to be wrapped like mummies.

"LOL (this part was specially for you). Janet Jackson sings it "All For You" such a cool beat!"

Of course, now I remember. I remember when it came out how I thought "what a sophomoric lyric." My friend saw Janet at a party and he thought she was with a child, (Jermaine Dupri) because he was so miniature. I recently saw an entertainment news show where the dreadful Tyra Banks smelled Janet's arm pits and then proceeded to tell Janet that she had a big rear end. I don't know why Tyra has a TV show. It's baffling?

"I think so too; but we never know with Gillian and Constance...lol."

    The plot thickens.

"People always look for the most fantastic vaticines when most of the times the prophecies are quite simple...and its results: huge!"

    True.

"And thanks for this supa-dupa comment! I laughed, I cried (of laughter), I rolled...you rock :D!"

    Right back at 'cha!

    Super High Achievements Cheers.

  10. Hey Bob! :D

"Lol, getting PG13 here with the riding and everything." - LOL I hear you!

"The Alleged Vaticine? are they putting thoughts in her head for there own means and she is not telepathic?" - LOL it is the alleged vaticine because Isha is so convinced that there is one that it turned "alleged" when she was clarified by her future mother-in-law lol. No, she is not telepathic...and the priestesses are not putting thoughts into her head, they are rather taking them off her head LOL.

"What does the Great Druid have to do with anything, I think he may be pulling the strings, this is really becoming a family affair." - the Great Druid is Isha's dad...he sent her to the Priestesses so that she could receive training. Druids only teach young men. LOL LOL I guess that it can be viewed as a family affair, indeed LOL *nodding*.

"So anyhoo half their job is done,Isha has got it bad for Erwin it will be interesting to see if they can complete the second half of the job saving Erwin and from what, maybe himself." - this is an interesting assessment! We'll see... :)

"Awesome max, looking forward to the next installment." - thank you, my friend *bowing*!

"Now I get it. Of course it is obvious now that you explained it further. Those furtive hunters are always on the prowl." - LOL oh yes! And they can be such voyeurs...shocking! It is not that they are really afraid of them...it's just that it wouldn't look good to do Karate while naked! If they have to defend themselves with martial arts, at least they have their clothes on lol.

"Do people still make them? Where on earth would they buy the ingredients?" - people still do them! They get their ingredients in the bush, or from Traditional medicine healers, or from specialised salesmen...

"No one I know. ;D The quality of cellphones in this country is atrocious. You hear every third word and have to piece together conversations." - LOL ;D! Really? Here they are actually good, so good that not only you hear the person talking to you, but also the people surrounding him (even if they whisper)...*nodding*.

"Priorities first. Knowledge then passion." - absolutely! The mind over the flesh...

"Some women would have to be wrapped like mummies." - ROFL....oh my God, what a dreadful sight LOL LOL LOL....

"My friend saw Janet at a party and he thought she was with a child, (Jermaine Dupri) because he was so miniature." - ROFL...oh my LOL LOL LOL LOL that is so nasty LOL LOL LOL LOL *tears in my eyes* LOL LOL poor JD!

"I recently saw an entertainment news show where the dreadful Tyra Banks smelled Janet's arm pits and then proceeded to tell Janet that she had a big rear end. I don't know why Tyra has a TV show. It's baffling?" - Tyra Banks' show is the worse thing I have ever layed my eyes upon! Such garbage!!! She did what, smelled what, proceeded with what? I can't believe that! Trashy!! *nodding* I don't know why either, darling...it's utterly dreadful!

"The plot thickens." - and thickens...

  16. hmmm...this is an interesting turn, but yes the feeling of some plotting adds to the readers excitement but from the Isha we can understand it is unfair for her part & being a part of the family, there is some honour involved also & so Isha perhaps has to sacrifice her personal choices for the overall demand of the family, which is a bit demanding on personal freedom......If I have to get a bit out of context from the passage, I can say this is the precisely the reason why there are more nuclear families in the world today than ever before, as being a part of the family and satisfying everyone's whims is a difficult task....

It was wonderful reading Max. I bet you can publish a book out of all these beautiful writings.
