There is nothing sexier than a brilliant mind.
Meeting and having someone capable of stimulating your intellect and, of teaching you new things everyday, is more precious than silver and gold all together.
The predator is out on the jungle looking for his next prey. Its game meat has to appeal to the eye in such a way that its brain orders it to approach for it’s time to have a luxuriant meal. It neighbours the prey, offers it a drink, observes its scrumptious looks (a body like “Bam!”, enticing eyes, a cashmere blanket for hair...gorgeous)...the predator will now engage in a conversation with the prey...but when it opens its mouth......................................................................the predator loses its appetite...
A snake is squirming through a jungle in search for a living being to become its main squeeze. Suddenly, it spots a beautiful, well fed deer quenching its thirst by the river. The snake observes it; stylishly swims over to it and decides to test the deer’s sensibility level and intelligence by saying “I could eat you up right now; what a feast!” the deer stops drinking water, lifts its head, frowns and replies “If I were you I wouldn’t even try cause you’d choke: I’m just too phat for you!” and walks away. An impressed snake smirks and decides that that witty deer will leave him satisfied for a long, long time.
When a human being manages to pierce another’s mind, leaving a trail of intellectual delicatessens, offering mental ecstasy and intellectual orgasms...one can’t help but to wonder what wonders won’t be bestowed upon one’s body.
There is nothing more erotic than an intellect neighbouring geniality.
Reason, knowledge, thought, culture and all the things that stem from these four mental tools; are more precious than all the diamonds and gems in the world.
I wish I could pen down all the possible erotic outcomes of sharing a life with someone who possesses a brilliant, classy, cultivated, genial, outstanding mind...but...I do not wish to sound too graphic...Therefore all I can say is: eroticism begins in one's mind.

It is worth all the precious stones in the world. It is the best gift in the world to be taught - and then teach. One thought can travel through so many individuals at once where we each give it our interpretation.

ReplyDeleteIt seems to me there are two kinds of stimulation: temporal and eternal. Temporal pleasures stay near the surface, and can, I suppose, be found in a pretty / handsome face without much under the hood. But those pleasures fade so quickly one wonders why they took the trouble to pursue them!
True intimacy, on the other hand, stems from multiple levels of stimulation (intellectual, physical, even emotional). We must never forget that we are three parts - mind, body and spirit - and all three parts need attention in order for the whole to be in right order.
Pretty faces do come and go, but a brilliant mind that is not easily bent toward the obvious is a rare gem indeed!

I believe the secret to eroticism is for you and your partner to maintain open mind. You have to allow all of these ticklish thoughts to dance around in your head without being afraid, or judgmental. And remember, everybody can't like everything, so be understanding of your partner and realize that they probably came from an entirely different background than you did. You may not agree with one or more of their thoughts. That's okay. But don't be too critical either, because if someone opens up their deepest thoughts to share with you, you must tread very lightly. Otherwise, they may shut down and you will lose them forever.
My psychology professor used to say that human sexuality fits nicely under the big bell curve. Of course, there are the extremes that hover around both ends, but mostly we all fit within two Z-Scores of the mean.
