Please allow me to introduce you to the biggest hoax on earth: the BE party. BE (Bloco de Esquerda [transl: The Left Block]) is a Portuguese far-left party that sugar coats its radical views in order to allure the youth and the discontent to its deceiving web. Let’s take a quick look at the BE’s soul, so you can have an idea of what I mean:
"Definition and Goals1- The Left Block is a political movement, constituted by female and male citizens, that assumes the legal form of a political party.
2- The Left Block, also referred as a Movement, is inspired by the convergent contributions made by citizens, powers and movements that, through the many years, have committed themselves to the intransigent defence of freedom, and to the search for alternatives to capitalism. It believes in a world ecologically sustainable. It fights against all forms of exclusion, based on discriminations rooted on ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, opinion or condition.
3- The Left Block defends and promotes a culture of civic participation and of democratic political action, as a guarantee to social transformation; and it also defends and promotes a perspective of socialism as an expression of the emancipationist fight of Humanity against exploitation and oppression." Comment
1- Why the need to emphasize “female and male citizens”? By “citizens” it is understood “female and male”. The left has this need to show how much it cares for women: what a hoax. We all know that when the time comes to choose a leader, what gender they choose to lead.
2- “Intransigent defence of freedom”: hoax. BE’s heroes are Stalin and Leonine…need I say more?
“The search for alternatives to capitalism”: hoax. The only alternative to capitalism is Ethical Capitalism; would the far-left be willing to comprehend and accept this economic system? Or is their vision of an alternative the failed Stalinist economic model “Produce only, for consumption is bourgeois” ?
3- “A guarantee to social transformation”: hoax. BE’s notion of social transformation is to subdue all the rich, take all their possessions, nationalise all business and distribute the proceeds by the poor. It seems to me that this party suffers from the Robin Hood Syndrome.
They speak of fighting oppression, but they wish to oppress the rich (and in the future; their political enemies for sure – the past has taught us well).

It makes one wonder if there is indeed a conspiracy of the left…has Obama simply given the BE their Fifth Column orders?
This emphasis upon male and female juxtapositions potential disharmony and class struggle along with strife as to emblazon and stir the tension needed to foment civil unrest and the typical leftist desire for revolution even with force…
Oh yes the alternatives to capitalism…poverty…
Snake oil salesmen speaking of freedom and democracy they promulgate an elitist agenda as do all socialists…they know best…just as Obama declared in his state of the DIS-union speech...people are abhorred of his socialist health care agenda only because he has not explained it well enough (I will unpack his meaning…we reject his pan because we are to stupid he believes…we must not dare think it is because the ideas are bad…)
I very much enjoyed this insight to the state of politics in Portugal in regards to the Bloco (English translation “Block Heads”). I visited the link to their web page and although I speak not Portuguese I note a menu header which speaks volumes “Propaganda”…as I said…Mr. Obama…

Well, I'm suspicious of extremity - left or right. A good thing they are out in the open though - much more dangerous when going underground I think.

Hi Max, just a few words about BE....if they're were so worried about givin' to poor ones, they could start to split their own earnings for the less fortunated; another example is the fact of they're being against EU, but never none of them have ever refused the position or even some part of the 10000 € salary... but nowadays who would?

ReplyDeleteummm, relating to the post I can only say, this hypocrisy is just increasing in every society today...the so called self-made caretakers of our society has their own vested interested and that's how they thrive in the innocent minds of our world who take the weak areas of human beings to their advantage....and relating to the leftist ideology it has never stood the test of time anywhere in the world, at some point of time or the other they have succumbed to capitalism and have gone a long away of their ideological moorings, today its nothing more than lip-service...and in few parts of the world that it remains, its all out of force rather than choice...they are the reason of their downfall...nice reading..
Hey Max! Glad to hear you had a relaxing weekend. Mine was stressful. My FIL was brought to the hospital because of heart ailment. Thank God he's conscious again after being in a coma for a day. We're praying that he'll recover from it, though the doctors gave him a very slim chance.

You would think that with all the history we have gone through, socialism, fascism, communism, dictatorships, and king and queens, we’d have learned something by now. But I am constantly reminded that we haven't learned anything. Nichts. Nada. Large factions of our society, and I mean our global society; still believe that totalitarianism trumps the freewill of the people. That some how, we are all so lame that big government is our only salvation. And the very people who argue for total governmental control, seem to be those same individuals who cry the loudest when their right to overtake the minds of the people is impeded in any way. Whatever they call it, change, progress, welfare, I’m not buying what they’re selling.
Max, you continue to amaze and excite me with your thought provoking and downright troublesome posts. But I love it. Keep up the good work.

ReplyDeleteExtremists whomever (right or left) are extremely egotistic for their ideals top over the people's interests. Instead if leading they impose behaviour. Nations are destroyed due to an experience. The notion of logic (correct or better the system) is unknown to those idealists for they practice suicidal policies, thus chaining entire countries.
One would think that, by now, people had learnt from Mao Tse Tung, Staline, Hitler, Mussulini, Vichy, Castro and the likes of them, but as another dictator (Salazar) once said: "Each people has the government it deserves!"

"Propaganda" is a tool utilised by everybody (the far right is particularly successful in this)...remember Hitler and his "Kinder, Küche, Kirche" (Make babies, stay in the kitchen and go to church) propaganda (outdoors with milky white blond women with little milky white blond kids)? Remember his "anti-Juden" propaganda? Even Salazar (our cute little dictator) had his effective propaganda (how Christian women should behave; how the war in the oultremer was justified; how oppression was justified etc)...
This being said, propaganda is not exclusive to communists...they learned it well from the fascists.

LOL LOL that was an excellent one! They speak against the EU and all it stands for, but they do not mind earning the €10,000 as Euro-PM's (and boy is that seat warm for them) *nodding*. Like I say, at least the right is open about it: we like the €10,000 salary and we fight for it.
