Shredding 3 General Convictions

There is hell.

What if we came to discover that hell is here on earth? We are told that hell is a horrible place we go to in order to pay for our sins. If we believe in reincarnation, it is not difficult to believe that hell is the idea of staying away from Home, by repeatedly reincarnating on earth until we learn whatever we must learn; until we break the cycle of re-birth; until we fulfil the mission we were sent for. If we don’t believe in reincarnation, then why should we search for an even worst place than earth to be punished? We experience enough evil and suffering here: verbal violence; abuse; assault, murder, rape; paedophilia; promiscuity; corruption; vices; envy; starvation, wars...endless diseases etc.
Do we need further penalisation?

Jesus and Jews are two separate things.

This is the excuse racist Christians use. Jesus (Yoshke) was a Jew from the moment he was born until the day he was crucified and then resurrected. Just because he suggested new ways of thinking and behaving; just because he clashed with Jewish religious authorities; it doesn’t mean that he was less Jewish than he was. So, whenever I see and hear an anti-Semitic Christian I can’t help but to despise that ignorant, nonsensical and brainless individual.

Smiling = kindness and sympathy.

To smile at someone is often thought of as being kind, nice and sympathetic; however this is not always the case. Many times a smiling face equals a lying, deceiving, backstabbing or even a plotting face. One can smile at you and sleep with your spouse; one can smile and harm your kids; one can smile and plan to hurt you; one can smile and curse you; one can smile and hate you. A smile can hide envy and so much more other negative emotions.

Like “The Undisputed Truth” sang “Smiling faces sometimes pretend to be your friend; smiling faces show no traces of the evil that lurks within, can you dig it? (...)”

  1. I am curious regarding the theory of reincarnation in aggregate. Should people become better on average over time or more evil? Or is the trend neutral? Does this kind of questioning lead anywhere?

  2. Hi Looney :D!

"I am curious regarding the theory of reincarnation in aggregate. Should people become better on average over time or more evil?"

It depends on people's mission on earth.
However, many mystical streams will tell you that people are to become better over the many cycles of re-birth. But if so, then why isn't the world a better place? Why hasn't it eradicated evil?
Reincarnation, in my personal view, is all about the mission to be fulfilled; all about the purpose.

"Does this kind of questioning lead anywhere?"

Any kind of questioning (and therefore, doubt) brings us closer to the Truth.

Looney, thank you ever so much for your great comment :D!

    Cheers

  3. Hi Max!

Your usual strategically targeted revolutionary challenge, carefully crafted intrigue, selective provocation…yet fun and intellectually sexy ensemble…

First Hell is not to be here on Earth (not in an actualized long term designation)…next there is no reincarnation:

And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,
    - - Hebrews 9:27

    Jesus teaches resurrection not reincarnation….

And next there is a genuine Hell but people do not go there to pay for their sins…humans are bankrupt and have nothing to offer towards redemption from their sins…only “our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13) can redeem us as He is the only acceptable Savior…humans cannot pay for their sins in Hell as they have nothing to offer…The present Earth as it is holds nothing in the way of severity compared to Hell…

Jesus was and is a Jew…He is ethnically a Jew and He is the perfection and completion of Judaism as the One and Only Messiah…thus the popular bumper sticker “My God is a Jewish carpenter”…Personally all of the genuine followers of Jesus that I know love the Jewish people and are their biggest supporters…this includes the ethnically Jewish followers of Jesus I know…

Smiles are interesting as some do use them to disguise evil intentions…and various cultures fill smiles with various meanings…to some if you smile you are hiding something…yet I welcome smiles…I am a smiling person and have found that a smile can go a long ways…it is interesting that in most cultures smiling indicates a form of happiness…

A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face; a sad heart makes it hard to get through the day.
    - - Proverbs 15:13 (The Message)

  4. I agree with you. If you are to think of the violence, abuse, assault, murder starvation and the rest, then hell is definitely here on earth.

A smile can be very dangerous, I've met a lot of people who would smile so sweetly and back stab you. :(

I hope you have a great week sweetie. By the way, an ad page opened when I clicked on comment. This happened to my blog before when I was using a free template. It was only when I changed my theme that the pop-up page disappeared. Though I'd let you know. :)

    *more hugs*

  5. Hell is on earth, I was told by Bible scholars...and while we are yet alive we experience an intro to hell now, like what you have said 'the evil things' esp if we don't trust in God.

Reincarnation? I don't believe in that. Only men's invention. Why? It is dictated by belief and religion practiced among different peoples.

And your thoughts about 'smile'? you sure is very correct and right! I know a genuine smile and a judas' smile...i know when i smile is meant to insult me or not! I like your thoughts here Max... ;-)

YOu have an FB account? I wish to be added as your friend if it's not too much of the asking my dear! I want to get closer to a million miles away friend like you! i wish that you could take a peek of my family...and know me a li'l bit personally!

have a nice, thank God, the typhoon did not cause much damage in our place!

  6. Have you noticed how differently a smile can be interpreted? In North America, smiles carry the "can-do" attitude, while in Asia it often means "don't make me lose face".

  7. Interesting thoughts. I don't believe hell is a place as much as it is a state of being. Hell to me is the belief that we are separate from source.

  8. Max nice post, and many good points again, especially about smiling. Lucky me, no body yet gave me the false smile. Hope you are doing fine, and looks like you are on the roll with blogging. I am trying to keep up myself, but now way, all I have is nights. On my way to read some more of your stuff... Hugs, and lots of kisses from Matthew. Anna :)

  9. Hi LSus :D!

"Your usual strategically targeted revolutionary challenge, carefully crafted intrigue, selective provocation…yet fun and intellectually sexy ensemble…"

    Wow...thank you, LSus *bowing*!

"First Hell is not to be here on Earth (not in an actualized long term designation)…next there is no reincarnation: "And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, - - Hebrews 9:27"

That is your opinion, which is to be respected, my friend. As for the quote: it depends on what it means to die once...

    "Jesus teaches resurrection not reincarnation…."

No, Jesus spoke of reincarnation but some Christians chose to ignore that part of his teachings - a little bit different.

"only “our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13) can redeem us as He is the only acceptable Savior…"

So, God (Hashem) is not the Saviour? I am asking this since you're saying that Jesus Christ is the "only acceptable Savior"...what is God's place in the middle of your theory? Yes, because God and Jesus are two different things, and frankly to call Jesus "God" borders blasphemy: how can the servant be the Master, the Creator? *nodding*...it doesn't make sense, mate.

"Jesus was and is a Jew…He is ethnically a Jew and He is the perfection and completion of Judaism as the One and Only Messiah"

Ethnically a Jew...Hmmm...interesting: what does that mean? Cause being a Jew is belonging to the covenant with God (which comprises a few commandments lol); one cannot reject God and then hide behind the label of "ethnical Jew" to have it easy, no (being a Jew is far more complex than that). Because if we speak of "ethnical Jews" then Portugal is a Jewish State...
This even reminds me of the "cultural Christians" that were recently rejected by the Catholic church: you're either a Christian or you're not. People do not want to learn about Jesus and his teachings, they don't want to follow them nor Paul's philosophical views and then call themselves Christians? Come on...
    It's not honest to be Chiclet-Jews, Chiclet-Christians, Chiclet-Muslims, or Chiclet-whatever.

"Personally all of the genuine followers of Jesus that I know love the Jewish people and are their biggest supporters…"

You only know wonderful people, have you noticed? You are indeed a blessed person, LS... :)

"Smiles are interesting as some do use them to disguise evil intentions…and various cultures fill smiles with various meanings…to some if you smile you are hiding something…yet I welcome smiles…I am a smiling person and have found that a smile can go a long ways…it is interesting that in most cultures smiling indicates a form of happiness…"

True, mate. I know you are a smiling person, nevertheless people must beware of you and your smiles and your Bibles LOL LOL *duck*!

"A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face; a sad heart makes it hard to get through the day. - - Proverbs 15:13 (The Message)"

    It depends on the individual...

LSus, fantastic comment for which I thank you a million times :D!

    Cheers

If we don't trust God indeed...*nodding*.

  15. Hey Max! Sorry I'm so late. :) We're alright, the storm was far from our place. Thank God it wasn't as bad as last year's Typhoon Ondoy.

We're having a long weekend here because of Halloween. We'll just be home though. :)

Hope you are having a great weekend sweetie. Take care and hugs.
