Arab MKs Betray Israel in Impunity: Why Law of Treason & Sedition Isn't Enforced?

In Israel, some MKs (Members of the Knesset - the Israeli Parliament) are working with foreign agents against the State: shouldn’t that action be considered an Act of Treason and when did it become tragic to enforce the law?

The Situation Room

Those MKs are operating against the State in more ways than one: there is clear evidence of collusion with the PLO/Hamas and Hezbollah on the part of the members of the Arab Joint List, and now they are garnering world condemnation of the Israel Nationality Law on the international stage.

When any given politician is sworn into the Knesset they swear allegiance to the State; but does anyone really believe that Arab MKs are loyal to the Jewish State? We are talking about people who support killing Jews, who dream of kicking us out of our Land, who collude with the Enemies of the State, and who are basically a fifth column that has been activated by the PLO (and their foreign allies) to hurt Israel from within and without.

Let’s recall that the Arab Joint List was made possible because President Barack Obama (blinded by his obsession with deposing PM Netanyahu), in 2015, sent his people to interfere in the Israeli electoral process to increase the number of Arab seats in the Knesset (e.g. leftist organisations funded by Jeremy Bird’s team bused Arab voters to cast a ballot for the Arab list)…here’s a good example of gross interference in election results by a foreign government.  Having said this, we have to wonder whether this Joint List is now working against the State (they swore allegiance to) as repayment for the favour done to them three years ago (affirmative, I am implying that the US Left may also be behind this sudden bout of Arab creativity).

The question, however, is: why is the Jewish State allowing these folks to hurt the Jewish People and the Country this way? I hope the explanation is not a lazy one like “If we go after them, we will be accused of being racist by the international community and that would be a bother. Who wants to listen to Cate Blanchett yapping at the UN because Muslims are being ‘persecuted’ in her myopic world view?” It is rather tiresome to hear or read this sort of explanation of issues – it’s like fear (of the Media, of the Social Media, of Public Opinion, of Donor A or B, of anything except G-d) is an excuse to fail doing the right thing.

The Israeli Penal Law

Let’s briefly take a look at some relevant articles of the Israeli Penal Law that could easily apply to the treacherous Arab MKs:

CHAPTER SEVEN: STATE SECURITY, FOREIGN RELATIONS AND OFFICIAL SECRETS

Article Two: Treason

99. (a) A person who, with intent to assist an enemy in war against Israel, commits an act calculated so to assist him is liable to the death penalty or to imprisonment for life.

(b) For the purposes of this section, “assistance” includes delivering information with intent that it shall fall into the hands of the enemy or in the knowledge that it may fall into his hands; and it shall be immaterial that no war is being waged at the time the information is delivered.

114. (a) A person who knowingly maintains contact with a foreign agent and has no reasonable explanation therefore is liable to imprisonment for fifteen years.

(b) A person who attempts to establish contact with a foreign agent or visits the place of residence or place of work of a foreign agent, or is in the company of a foreign agent, or has in his possession the name or address of a foreign agent and has no reasonable explanation therefore shall be treated like a person who maintains contact with a foreign agent.

Article Six: Impairment of Foreign Relations

121. (b) Notwithstanding the provisions of any law, a person who commits an offence with intent to damage relations between Israel and any state, organisation or agency referred to in subsection (a) or an interest which Israel has in maintaining such relations is liable to imprisonment for ten years; but if even without proof of the intent referred to in this subsection the penalty for the offence would be imprisonment for seven years or more, he shall be liable to imprisonment for life.

(c) In this section, “friendly state” means a state which maintains diplomatic or trade relations with Israel or permits Israeli nationals to visit its territory.

CHAPTER EIGHT: OFFENCES AGAINST THE POLITICAL AND SOCIAL ORDER

Article One: Sedition

136. For the purposes of this article, “sedition” means —

(1) to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection against the State or its duly constituted administrative or judicial authorities or

(2) to incite or excite inhabitants of Israel to attempt to procure the alteration otherwise than by lawful means of any matter by law established or

(3) to raise discontent or resentment amongst inhabitants of Israel or

(4) to promote feelings of ill-will and enmity between different sections of the population.

Conclusion

When these Arab Members of the Knesset go the UN, or the EU, to push for a world condemnation of the country they swore to serve and protect, and based on the Israeli Law, it is clear they are committing acts of treason and sedition – thus, why are they still sitting at the Knesset (where they enjoy immunity and all sorts of benefits from the People they militate against)? It makes no sense at all.

I also hope not to hear excuses like “If we go after them then the number of terror attacks, by Arabs, will increase” – excuse me, since when did the Jewish People become a bunch of cowards? As Jews, we have been fighting since inception. The Torah is full of such examples. So, we continue to fight until our House is in order; because right now Medinat Yisrael is a chaotic chicken-coop – that would make Moshe Rabeinu break another set of Tablets again.

Give me a break, Israel. Ad Matai, Adonai, ad Matai?

  1. Some Arabs in Israel are loyal to the state, why not put those in the knesset? Kick the traitors out!

  2. I don't understand what kind of games Israel is playing here. Why let these guys play Israel around and go as far as passing information to her enemies? Don't get it.

  3. It's ironic how now the Democrats are pulling a show over the Russian-Trump alleged collusion to influence American elections when there was an obvious and proved one between Obama and Middle Easterners to depose Netanyahu. No one said anything then but now they all cry foul without proof of offense. What do we have now? We have the very same group that America put in the Knesset working against Israel at the UN and EU! How outrageous is that? So kick them out, enforce the law and let's end this charade once and for all!

  4. It's like in Europe: Arabs can insult us all, incite to hatred, threaten to kill us in spite of the laws we have against such crimes. Jews and Christians can be abused and it's ok. But dare to say something about the Muslims! Then we go to jail, we pay fines and we are spat on. Why isn't the law enforced anywhere in the world?

  5. First they let that Zoabi woman get away with her treason; now they are letting these guys do the dirty work for the PLO in impunity. Sometimes I think Israel needs to do some soul searching.

  6. if Israel shows herself weak, Jews in the diaspora will be in a more fragile position. You can see that with this Labour Party UK mess and their anti-Semitism row. What a bloody mess it is and now British Jews are thinking about leaving the country. It may be nothing, but I believe there is a relationship between Israel's strength and the Jewish Diaspora's security.
