Chained

Imagine a brain, a heart and a soul all chained up...that is a woman.
When a woman is born, the brainwash operation is launched: girls wear pink; girls play with dolls; girls play with kitchen sets; girls play with girls; girls must be nice and kind; girls smile all the time; young ladies must be careful with kissing boys; young ladies must remain pure; they must be virgins in order to find a good husband (as if virginity represented a safe collateral); women must have kids; women must have a husband; women must, must, must…

Women have come a long way. They have battled through injustice, humiliation, disrespect and have conquered many rights, yet they remain under balls and chain. Yes, it sounds rather shocking…preposterous even; but if you look around closely you’ll realize how true it is. The female gender complains about sexism…who perpetuates it? Women do. How? By actively participating in the brainwash operation. Why do they do it? Because since they’ve been brainwashed, they’ll brainwash others even without realising it (it goes show how successful the operation was).

Observe these powerful and generous beings. They are enslaved. By whom? By their own mind.
Most women believe to be free, independent and strong; but then they battle inside for not having a relationship, for not being married, for not having kids, for not building a family etc (while telling themselves “I am independent, I don’t need a man!”) – yes, we are strong, free, independent but we need a man if (and only if) he loves, complements and respects us; yes, we can have children but only if we really want to and  not because we were programmed to do it; yes, we can be housewives if we wish; yes, we can get married if (and only if) we decide to, and not because we must or because we are afraid of being called “whores” in case we decide to be reasonably free.

Women need to drop their penile dependency. One thing is to understand that “Il faut qu’l corps exulte” (the body has its needs), another thing is to be completely addicted to the figure of a phallus. When one comprehends that its body needs to release tensions, one is in a position of power; however when one suffers from penial dependency, one is in a position of submission (for one might even subject itself to disrespect, humiliation and violence in order to either get or keep it).

A woman’s intellect is a valuable asset. She must develop it, and once she does this, she’ll realise the power bestowed upon her, and she will not be humiliated or shouted at ever again. We have conquered many rights, yet we continually enslave ourselves; for as long as there is one single woman, on earth, being castrated and chained (in any sort of way) we are not free at all.
I’d say, women, in the free world, mustn’t ignore those who haven’t conquered yet their right to break their own chains.

  1. Okay…….this article is more for women that for men, but I can’t let this go without throwing in my two cents worth

“Imagine a brain, a heart and a soul all chained up...that is a woman.
When a woman is born, the brainwash operation is launched: girls wear pink; girls play with dolls; girls play with kitchen sets; girls play with girls; girls must be nice and kind; girls smile all the time; young ladies must be careful with kissing boys; young ladies must remain pure; they must be virgins in order to find a good husband (as if virginity represented a safe collateral); women must have kids; women must have a husband; women must, must, must…”

    - Men had a different set of musts, like providing for his family, being strong yet sensitive. Although I must admit, you have far more “musts” than we do.

“Women have come a long way. They have battled through injustice, humiliation, disrespect and have conquered many rights, yet they remain under balls and chain.”

-That’s not a phallic joke, is it?

“Yes, it sounds rather shocking…preposterous even; but if you look around closely you’ll realize how true it is.”

    -Seriously, it is true.

“The female gender complains about sexism…who perpetuates it? Women do. How? By actively participating in the brainwash operation. Why do they do it? Because since they’ve been brainwashed, they’ll brainwash others even without realising it (it goes show how successful the operation was).”

-This fits right in with my “Success” series about moving beyond the brainwashing…identify it, want to change it, then make the change. (BTW, I should get back to publishing the rest of the series.)

“Observe these powerful and generous beings. They are enslaved. By whom? By their own mind.”

-The mind is very powerful master!

“Most women believe to be free, independent and strong; but then they battle inside for not having a relationship, for not being married, for not having kids, for not building a family etc (while telling themselves “I am independent, I don’t need a man!”) – yes, we are strong, free, independent but we need a man if (and only if) he loves, complements and respects us; yes, we can have children but only if we really want to and not because we were programmed to do it; yes, we can be housewives if we wish; yes, we can get married if (and only if) we decide to, and not because we must or because we are afraid of being called “whores” in case we decide to be reasonably free.”

-This may a bit of an aside, but I think that most divorces happen because people settle for someone who is good looking, or good in bed, when what they should be looking for is someone with the same VALUES. Also, unfortunately, most people have not formed their values……they go through life not really knowing who they are……….so they fall back on their brainwashing.

“Women need to drop their penile dependency. -Oh no………..please don’t drop your “penile dependency”………….that would be disasterous………….(LOL)

“A woman’s intellect is a valuable asset. She must develop it, and once she does this, she’ll realise the power bestowed upon her, and she will not be humiliated or shouted at ever again.”

-A women’s intellect just gets in the way……………….just kidding. Without an intellectual attraction, most relationships will fall apart.

“We have conquered many rights, yet we continually enslave ourselves; for as long as there is one single woman, on earth, being castrated and chained (in any sort of way) we are not free at all.”

“I’d say, women, in the free world, mustn’t ignore those who haven’t conquered yet their right to break their own chains.”

-Here, here! Give them hell Max………….. Max for official “Chain Breaker!”

  2. Hi Max,

    And a rousing Happy Maxday.

    Btw, excellent photo.

This is very timely. I just gave my mother the photo of Picasso's, Three Women for her B-day because I thought it summed up a women beautifully - a child, a lady and a mother. Women are multi-faceted and our roles are forever refined.

Some are content with being a wife, girlfriend, unattached, a career woman, etc. We don't fit into just one category. "I am every woman, it's all in me...."

"When a woman is born, the brainwash operation is launched."

I call this the Disney syndrome. Girls grow up looking for a prince (Snow White, Cinderella) and they don't know that what they learn is to rely on the grand illusion. Look at most of the films made for women, they reiterate the brainwashing by telling women that they need a relationship to be happy.

"Women have come a long way. They have battled through injustice, humiliation, disrespect and have conquered many rights, yet they remain under balls and chain."

Women have come a long way. Women have started wars, (Helen of Troy) run countries, (Maragret Thatcher) set records, (Amelia Earhart) and have always been rescuers (Lassie); we can't be contained or confined to small spaces. We have to punctuate our sentences and exercise our exclamation points.

It's funny how some men describe their wives as "the old ball and chain," like THEY are the ones chained? They don't know how lucky THEY are to have US. ;D

I once heard a quote, "A marriage is not a word, it's a sentence." LOL.

"The female gender complains about sexism…who perpetuates it? Women do. How?"

Posing for Playboy. Pandering to the wiles of men. (strangers) This does not include what you do with your husband, especially you Max. I have heard the stories. (Steamy!)

"Most women believe to be free, independent and strong; but then they battle inside for not having a relationship, for not being married, for not having kids, for not building a family.."

Or participating in anything that society tells them to do.

"Women need to drop their penile dependency."

    ROFL. ROFL. ROFL.

"A woman’s intellect is a valuable asset. She must develop it, and once she does this, she’ll realise the power bestowed upon her, and she will not be humiliated or shouted at ever again."

    Here. Here.

Great post and awesome message for all women and men who would like to please their women. If we can't be free, at least we can be a bargain price. LOL.

Have you heard the song, "Woman In Chains," by Tears For Fear? I can reference anything to a song. ;D

    Independent Woman Cheers!

  3. WOW!!! What a post, Max! It makes me realize the balls and chains I have. I remember clearly when I was still going nowhere with R2 (as he was still unemployed) and a close friend was getting married, another was planning a wedding...and I could just hear the whole world screaming at me, "When's your turn?"

I had to literally shut those voices up in order to find out what I REALLY wanted, not what they said I needed and wanted to do.

Only then I could gain my peace. :-)))) It's not easy to shut those voices up, though, esp. if you're still living in that part of the world...

  4. Hi Mel :D!

"Okay…….this article is more for women that for men, but I can’t let this go without throwing in my two cents worth"

LOL It may seem like it, indeed...but the opinion of a man is always welcomed! So let me hear your two cents...

"Men had a different set of musts, like providing for his family, being strong yet sensitive. Although I must admit, you have far more “musts” than we do."

You have brought a huge point to the arena: indeed men have "musts" of their own, and they are not easy ones either. I think so too, Mel...but the question is: are we still willing to abide to all of the "musts"? And which ones are exagerated or not?

"That’s not a phallic joke, is it?"

ROFL...it could be; but no....this time it is not LOL.

    "Seriously, it is true."

    Unfortunately.....

"This fits right in with my “Success” series about moving beyond the brainwashing…identify it, want to change it, then make the change. (BTW, I should get back to publishing the rest of the series.)"

Absolutely!!! Well, I must confess that I recalled your "Success" series when writing this article.
Yes, you should get back to publishing it: I miss it!!

"The mind is very powerful master!"

Oh yeah...you and I know this very well!

"This may a bit of an aside, but I think that most divorces happen because people settle for someone who is good looking, or good in bed, when what they should be looking for is someone with the same VALUES. Also, unfortunately, most people have not formed their values……they go through life not really knowing who they are……….so they fall back on their brainwashing."

I am glad you brought this up!! It is true that many people settle for someone who looks "hot" (like it is said nowadays); who looks stylish, whose sexual performance is good, who has a nice car, money etc...and only to find out that they don't know that person at all, that he/she doesn't match him/her in any sort of way. It is sad.
Indeed, we must look for someone who shares the same values - that is the only everlasting thing in a relationship (cause all the rest is ephemeral).
I agree "most people have not formed their values...." they still don't know who they are....true.

"Oh no………..please don’t drop your “penile dependency”………….that would be disasterous………….(LOL)"

ROFL....LOL Mel..LOL...some women are too dependent on the phallus (to the point of going crazy when they don't have one), but mainly on the man (the phallic figure): I think that a spoon of independence does us good. We know we love men (those who do, of course), they are extremely good for our skin (lol); but we won't die if we make decisions by ourselves, we won't die if we get "manless"; we survive without them if we have to.

"A women’s intellect just gets in the way……………….just kidding. Without an intellectual attraction, most relationships will fall apart."

LOL LOL LOL I have heard that one too LOL *nodding*! Absolutely!! Ask me if I'd want a man with no intellect (if I wanted a chiclet, ok; but to share a life...no).

"You only have yourselves to blame……………. Wait a minute, that’s what you are saying, isn’t it?? (LOL)"

    LOL....yes....

"Here, here! Give them hell Max………….. Max for official “Chain Breaker!”"

    LOL thank you, Mel *bowing*!

    "Nice job as usual."

    You are kind, thanks! :D

"It will be linked at SlogBite within minutes."

That is great, man: thank you!

And, Mel, thanks for this awesome comment...as always, you make me laugh - you are a swell chap :D!

    Cheers

    This is a valid point.

"The mind is very powerful master!"

Mel, I think that the mind is the servant, the Soul is the master.

That is a beautiful painting, by the way! The way he predominantly used the red...it is so passionate. That being said, it was an awesome present to give, A :D!
True; women are multifaceted...and that is why I admire them.

"Some are content with being a wife, girlfriend, unattached, a career woman, etc. We don't fit into just one category. "I am every woman, it's all in me....""

    Absolutely!

Disney Syndrome is an excellent name for it! Exactly: they inject on women this notion that they have to be in a relationship if they are to be real women. And then when they don't find a suitable relationship right away, they feel guilty or unworthy of being a woman *nodding*.

"Women have come a long way. Women have started wars, (Helen of Troy) run countries, (Maragret Thatcher) set records, (Amelia Earhart) and have always been rescuers (Lassie); we can't be contained or confined to small spaces. Lassie!? LOL LOL (I kept nodding as I read your list of amazing women and then...I stopped: say what?) LOL. Ok, let's include Lassie....
    Bravo!!! Bravo!!! *standing ovation*!

"It's funny how some men describe their wives as "the old ball and chain," like THEY are the ones chained? They don't know how lucky THEY are to have US. ;D"

LOL LOL LOL you are so right on this one LOL ;D!

"I once heard a quote, "A marriage is not a word, it's a sentence." LOL."

    LOL...that is a good one!

"Posing for Playboy. Pandering to the wiles of men. (strangers) This does not include what you do with your husband, especially you Max. I have heard the stories. (Steamy!)"

Playboy is the symbol of female exploitation. But some women would contradict us.
    ROFL....ROFL....Shhhhh...LOL*nodding*!

"Or participating in anything that society tells them to do."

    Shameful...they should think for themselves!

    "ROFL. ROFL. ROFL."

    LOL LOL...pardon my bluntness LOL...

  10. Hello Maximus….
    :)

First…congratulations on your new subtle approach…I am rather shocked at the meekness…
    :)

I hope things are well with the newlyweds….
    :)

Well we are here in the zone of the nurture vs. nature debate correct? I believe it is both plus the individual who must take responsibility for their own actions….If humans are sentient and I believe they are and if God does not force them to do everything they do (and He does not) then they must take what action they can in their daily lives…

I would say that there are both men and women that propagate sexism…For me the situation in the Islamic world is the direst example…Muhammad’s Arab Imperialist agenda is a horror for much of the world…and for others a nightmare…yet many in those situations are unaware of the freedoms and liberty outside of those kingdoms of hate and repressive mind control….I will also say that those that continue this enslavement are the true Muslims as they are within the threshold of the Quran and Haddith…and liberty, freedom and equality are alien to true Islamic thought….it would be nice to see “feminists” actually start to target this instead of many of the silly things they target in the west as per things similar to that in this article of mine:

    http://lifeontheblade.blogspot.com/2008/06/carol-james-and-bc-ndp-affirmative.html

Some women in the west now think that acting like a man is equality….and some men think that acting like a woman is equality I am NOT here speaking of gays and lesbians but simply those that purposely try to live their lives more like the other gender not because they feel that way but as an intellectual venture and/or guilt complex…

Women and men are different but the same….our rights should equal…our rolls can be different….we compliment one another and this is where the strength is built…

Two Biblical texts are screaming at me on this topic…God speaking to Eve and Adam after their sin in the Garden…

16 Then he said to the woman,
“I will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy,
and in pain you will give birth.
And you will desire to control your husband,
but he will rule over you.”
17 And to the man he said,
“Since you listened to your wife and ate from the tree
whose fruit I commanded you not to eat,
the ground is cursed because of you.
All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it.
18 It will grow thorns and thistles for you,
though you will eat of its grains.
19 By the sweat of your brow
will you have food to eat
until you return to the ground
    from which you were made.
For you were made from dust,
and to dust you will return.”
    - - Genesis 3:16-19 NLT

Fortunately Jesus the Messiah (the Christ) has delivered us beyond this consequence of sin as we can be the children of restored relationship with each other and more importantly with God, children of the promise…

26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. 28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
    - - Galatians 3:26-29 NLT

LOL I’m not trying to “throw the Book” at you today these portions of the Blade are what immediately came to my mind upon reading your thoughts…

A thought provoking article my dear Maximus….

  11. I agree with you: we, women, are sometimes our worse enemy.

Yet we have come a long way I feel...

But we should be careful not to reproduce what we fought against for centuries. I don't want any chains, I want freedom, yet I want to be a mother, a partner, a soul and a body.

    Our lives are complex ;)

  13. Max, there is one thing that I am curious to know about: After a century of women agitating for rights and - for the most part - getting them, are they any more emotionally fulfilled/happy/satisfied with life today than they were before? Is it conceivable that they are less satisfied?

  19. Hello LSus! :D

"First…congratulations on your new subtle approach…I am rather shocked at the meekness… :)"

LOL thank you, darling *bowing*! LOL LOL "meekness"? LOL...

"I hope things are well with the newlyweds….:)"

ROFL...everything is well, thanks LOL *nodding*...

"Well we are here in the zone of the nurture vs. nature debate correct? I believe it is both plus the individual who must take responsibility for their own actions….If humans are sentient and I believe they are and if God does not force them to do everything they do (and He does not) then they must take what action they can in their daily lives…"

Yes, we are. I agree with you: the individual should be responsible for its owns actions, its own choices mainly.

"I would say that there are both men and women that propagate sexism…"

Yes, but we already knew that men did it; now, women doing it comes always as a shocker for some....

"For me the situation in the Islamic world is the direst example…Muhammad’s Arab Imperialist agenda is a horror for much of the world…and for others a nightmare…yet many in those situations are unaware of the freedoms and liberty outside of those kingdoms of hate and repressive mind control….I will also say that those that continue this enslavement are the true Muslims as they are within the threshold of the Quran and Haddith…and liberty, freedom and equality are alien to true Islamic thought….it would be nice to see “feminists” actually start to target this instead of many of the silly things they target in the west as per things similar to that in this article of mine:"

I am so glad you brought this up (I was expecting you would lol)! LS, I couldn't agree more with you! And it is funny because as I wrote this article I kept thinking to myself "If only the feminists would invest their time on campaigning for women in the Muslim world, if they would help them to know what freedom, equality and liberty is...if they'd engage more on breaking the chains that keep those poor women captive!"...
And not to mention sexual enslavement...that is another dreadful issue that should be tackled by the feminists...

Thanks for this link (I have been wanting to ask you for it) - I will read it and leave a comment!

"Some women in the west now think that acting like a man is equality….and some men think that acting like a woman is equality I am NOT here speaking of gays and lesbians but simply those that purposely try to live their lives more like the other gender not because they feel that way but as an intellectual venture and/or guilt complex…"

I think that acting like a man is not equality; it is an illusion (a man is a man, and a woman is a woman). I have never met men who act like women though....perhaps you could exemplify, LS!
But anyway, I don't know why women would want to be or act like men: it is so boring! On the other hand, being a woman is so stimulating, empowering....I love it!

"Women and men are different but the same….our rights should equal…our rolls can be different….we compliment one another and this is where the strength is built…"

Our bodies are different, our intellect is the same, our feelings are different, our rights should be the same.
I agree with you: men and women complement each other...that is why women were built...to complement, to guide, to teach men (such lovely creatures lol)!

"Two Biblical texts are screaming at me on this topic…God speaking to Eve and Adam after their sin in the Garden…"

This is a great passage, and I just read about it last Saturday (this is the second time it happens, LS lol). It is one of those passages that make me want to offend Eve "Look what you have done! Why did you have to be tha curious, woman?" but then I am reminded that there is a purpose for everything :)....

"Fortunately Jesus the Messiah (the Christ) has delivered us beyond this consequence of sin as we can be the children of restored relationship with each other and more importantly with God, children of the promise…"

Oh no...you were going so well.....LOL

"LOL I’m not trying to “throw the Book” at you today these portions of the Blade are what immediately came to my mind upon reading your thoughts…"

LOL LOL oh no...you would never throw the Book at me, we know that LOL :)!

"A thought provoking article my dear Maximus…."

Thank you, LS....I appreciate it *bowing*!

And thanks for this amazing conversation...I loved it!

    Cheers

I meant to say that I would look atfer darling Mel.

    Mel,
Be careful. I may have to take you to the tickle torture room, where no man has ever returned the same.

Why do you think LS doesn't play with us anymore?

    You have been warned.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Everybody….yes that’s you….

While this is indeed Max’s (Maximus Supremuse Intercontinentus) blog (the “zone”, gladiator forum, Philo Sophia, gladiatrix dominux etc. and other impressive Latin words)…a wonderful place that it is….a home away from home I say…and it is hers to do with as she so please….

….I am wondering if we should start a petition to turn off the “word verification” in the comment section….it makes it more difficult for us puppies to get our cookies…and often the words are clearly propaganda such as “obamanation”, “livingswordisacatnot alemur”, “womenoftheworldunite” and such….

This being so I say we throw off the yoke of chains (or leashes on the puppy sense) and humbly request via petition to have said word verification (idea indoctrination) ceased….Do I have a second or more?

Alexys think how many more comments you will be able to make!

    Come along now everybody vote….Slogbite….?

    ReplyDelete
  32. LS & Everybody,
Been there & done that. I waged this very same campaign about a year ago (Max, I'm sure you remember.) I dumped the word verification and all went well for about a month, and then it happened....... I almost got spammed out of blogging. It was horrible and I do believe that Max tried to warn me.

  34. Love the photo and another excellent though provoking post max.

Geez max, when are you going to stop beating around the bush and say what you mean?,lol.

Times they are a changing, I remember when women were paid less then men for the same job, not any longer, equal work, equal pay, actually I hired the first ever woman in our maintenance department, and she did a great job, and moved on to bigger and better things in a field where only men once ruled, she didn't let society or the brainwashing take control of her, she is her own person.

I do think it is more of a cultural thing now then a gender issue and think that with each successive generation, when the old ways and believes are no longer propagated and entrenched in our society through TV shows, commercials or magazines women will feel free to live their lives as they see fit.

Hey I never thought I'd see the day when the States would have a black president, good for them!!

  51. Hi Looney :D!

"Max, there is one thing that I am curious to know about: After a century of women agitating for rights and - for the most part - getting them, are they any more emotionally fulfilled/happy/satisfied with life today than they were before? Is it conceivable that they are less satisfied?"

    What an excellent question!!!
I think that it is conceivable to think that disatisfaction is in the air. Have you noticed that women who are happy with their marriage, with their kids, with their family and home are the ones who are accused of being submissive (by other women)? This is an absurd!!
And those who make these accusations are extremely unhappy, otherwise they would mind their own business and let women live the way they see fit.

I look around and see confused women (thank God they are not the majority, but still they are confused): they don't know what their role is (as a human being, I mean) anymore; and they think that for us to stand up for our rights we need to act like men (which is more humiliating than the brainwash operation).

Looney, this was an excellent question, for which I thank you very much - it is alone material for another post *bowing*!

  84. Hi! Max, how would you have a baby girl brought up from day one? I’d hate to see them brought up any other way!

Brainwash? Hardly. It’s the natural order of things to have girls looking their best, playing with things that bring out their natural instincts. Would you have them brought up as a man?

Your thoughts on brainwashing implies an unnatural and unloving attitude that mothers around the world would surely contest.

Yes, I’m a mere male and have no daughters and perhaps not coming from your part of the world, have not witnessed what females have gone through there.

The only ball and chain that I can see here, is women wanting to start off in life not as a women but some other creature far removed from the loving and caring creatures that they should be and are.

“I am independent, I don’t need a man” stinks of feminism gone wrong!

    Take Care,
    Peter

  85. Max;

As I read your post I closed my eyes and imagined a brain, a heart and a soul all chained up...this is a man.

When a man is born, the brainwash operation is launched: boys wear blue; boys play with guns; boys play with tools; boys play with cars; boy must be nice and be kind to little girls; boys must never cry; young boys must learn to be strong; they must earn to fight; they must learn to earn a good living in order to attract good wife (as if money alone was all important); men must build a home; men must protect the wife; men must provide security; men must, must, must…it never ends.

Men have come a long way. They have battled through injustice, humiliation, disrespect, and have conquered many rights, yet they remain under a women’s whimsical nature.

Yes, it sounds rather shocking…preposterous even; but if you look around closely you’ll realize how true it is.

The male gender must never complain about anything…who perpetuates it? Men do. How? By participating in the brainwash operation. Why do they do it? Because since they’ve been brainwashed, they’ll brainwash others even without realizing it (father tells son, son tells grandson, grandson tells great grand son…).

Observe these powerful and generous beings. They are enslaved. By whom? By their own mind.
Most men believe to be free, independent and strong; but then they battle inside for not having a relationship, for not being married, for not having kids, for not building a family etc (while telling themselves “I am independent, I don’t need a woman!”) – yes, we are strong, free, independent but we need a woman if (and only if) she loves, complements and respects us; yes, we can have children but only if our wife really wants to; yes, we can be real men if we wish; yes, we can get married if (and only if) we decide to, and not because we must or because we are afraid of being called “unattractive” in case we decide to be reasonably free.
Men need to drop their vagina dependency. One thing is to understand that “Il faut qu’l corps exulte” (the body has its needs), another thing is to be completely addicted to the figure of a vulva. Yet we must never lust. When one comprehends that its body needs to release tensions, one is in a position of power; however when one suffers from vaginal dependency, one is in a position of submission (for one might even subject itself to disrespect, humiliation and violence in order to either get or keep it). How many wars have been fought over the love of a woman? Cleopatra? How many good men have we lost?

A man’s intellect is a valuable asset, his strength a resource. He must develop both, and once he does this, he’ll realize the power bestowed upon him, and he will not be humiliated or shouted at ever again.

We, as men, have conquered many rights, yet we continually enslave ourselves; for as long as there is one single man, on earth, being castrated and chained (in any sort of way) we are not free at all.
I’d say, men, in the free world, mustn’t ignore those who haven’t conquered yet their right to break their own chains.

For the only way we are to survive the blessing of life, is to have both good men and good women serving as one powerful force.

    Happy trails.

  92. Max, this is great, and I can talk about it for hours. We women can never be equal, its like comparing apples and pears, lol, but I tell you I enjoy being woman and what I can do, and now as you know I am happy. BTW this reminds me something that happened few years back in Canada where women wanted to go topless....well it kind of worked (bylaw was passed) out and they were going topless, but slowly this concept phased out, as some of the 'boobies' weren't that pretty to look at, lol, and not to mention cold weather, lol......so the whole idea died for now. See what I mean, as a woman we have function to perform, and man has its part. But then the world changed so many things around that we don't know anymore who's the 'man' of the house, lol. Max you are the best, love reading your stuff, and wow, glad to be comment number 92 (9+2=11), lol. Hugs from Matthew, and me. Anna :)

  104. Hi Peter :D!

"Max, how would you have a baby girl brought up from day one? I’d hate to see them brought up any other way!"

    Like a human being.

"Brainwash? Hardly. It’s the natural order of things to have girls looking their best, playing with things that bring out their natural instincts. Would you have them brought up as a man?"

No. Again, I would have them brought up as a human being.
Tell me, in what wearing pink brings out women's natural instinct? I didn't wear it and here I am: a whole woman.
I played with dolls, because people would offer me dolls, but I also played with my brother's toys: I am every woman.
I played more with boys than with girls...it didn't stop me from developing my natural instincts: I am still a woman.

Now, I have friends (female friends) who played with played with things that were supposed to "bring out their natural instincts" as you put it and they don't want kids, they don't want to get married but can't shake that guilt of not wanting those things.
Women don't need extras to know that they are women...

"Your thoughts on brainwashing implies an unnatural and unloving attitude that mothers around the world would surely contest."

My thoughts on brainwash are contested by many women and men, which is fine.
But they do not imply an unnatural or/and unloving attitude; they suggest mothers perpetuate sexism.

"The only ball and chain that I can see here, is women wanting to start off in life not as a women but some other creature far removed from the loving and caring creatures that they should be and are."

    I know what you mean...

    Indeed, indeed!

"Observe these powerful and generous beings. They are enslaved. By whom? By their own mind."

Now, I could dispute the generosity part...but there some men who are generous, yes. I could also dispute the powerful part...yes, I definitely dispute it!

Most men believe to be free, independent and strong; but then they battle inside for not having a relationship, for not being married, for not having kids, for not building a family etc (while telling themselves “I am independent, I don’t need a woman!”)"

LOL LOL Swu, when do men say "I don't need a woman"?

You know that I am against feminism exactly because of this: I see both men and women as human beings (specially because I believe in reincarnation: today I may be a woman, but tomorrow I may be a man - so what is the point of all the gender fuss?).

  128. Hi Max…

Sorry about the delay in response….

    Previously…
LS="First…congratulations on your new subtle approach…I am rather shocked at the meekness… :)"

Max=LOL thank you, darling *bowing*! LOL LOL "meekness"? LOL...

    I respond:
    LOL :)

LS="I hope things are well with the newlyweds….:)"

Max=ROFL...everything is well, thanks LOL *nodding*...

    I respond:
Excellent I jus thought I should make sure after reading this article….LOL

LS="Well we are here in the zone of the nurture vs. nature debate correct? I believe it is both plus the individual who must take responsibility for their own actions….If humans are sentient and I believe they are and if God does not force them to do everything they do (and He does not) then they must take what action they can in their daily lives…"

Max=Yes, we are. I agree with you: the individual should be responsible for its owns actions, its own choices mainly.

    I respond:
Please give me a moment to note this date of agreement :) There got it!

LS="I would say that there are both men and women that propagate sexism…"

Max=Yes, but we already knew that men did it; now, women doing it comes always as a shocker for some....

    I respond:
Well if people are so blind or ignorant as to think sexism comes from only one gender or racism from only one race etc it is a good thing they are here so they can be educated by Maximus Educationus…well done…

LS="For me the situation in the Islamic world is the direst example…Muhammad’s Arab Imperialist agenda is a horror for much of the world…and for others a nightmare…yet many in those situations are unaware of the freedoms and liberty outside of those kingdoms of hate and repressive mind control….I will also say that those that continue this enslavement are the true Muslims as they are within the threshold of the Quran and Haddith…and liberty, freedom and equality are alien to true Islamic thought….it would be nice to see “feminists” actually start to target this instead of many of the silly things they target in the west as per things similar to that in this article of mine:"

Max=I am so glad you brought this up (I was expecting you would lol)!

    I respond:
Afghanistan and Iraq have provided ample opportunity to do this but the difficulty with say US feminists is that most hate their own country similarly to those who protested against the military in the US but never about the USSR during the old cold war….They feel revolution at the success of their own nation so they try to pull it down…Certainly there are many women that have fled the Islamic Imperialistic world and have addressed these kinds of issues my shelves are full of their books…but the response in the west has been timid in this area…

How often do you see thousands of people protesting the plight of women in Saudi but they will set their hair on fire over some very silly things…

Max=Thanks for this link (I have been wanting to ask you for it) - I will read it and leave a comment!

    I respond:
And I will comment on your comment as I see you have indeed gifted me with your thoughts on Life….

LS="Some women in the west now think that acting like a man is equality….and some men think that acting like a woman is equality I am NOT here speaking of gays and lesbians but simply those that purposely try to live their lives more like the other gender not because they feel that way but as an intellectual venture and/or guilt complex…"

Max=I think that acting like a man is not equality; it is an illusion (a man is a man, and a woman is a woman). I have never met men who act like women though....perhaps you could exemplify, LS!

    I respond:
I mean men who in front of women talk the talk of an ultra woman’s rights kind of person and then are sexist as soon as women are out of hearing…I am speaking of many of those men who are pleased to be labelled metrosexuals….and men that feel guilt at their masculinity…

Max=But anyway, I don't know why women would want to be or act like men: it is so boring! On the other hand, being a woman is so stimulating, empowering....I love it!

    I respond:
Both genders are wonderful at gift our species with a wonderful ability to partner and be complimentary…

LS="Women and men are different but the same….our rights should equal…our rolls can be different….we compliment one another and this is where the strength is built…"

Max=Our bodies are different, our intellect is the same, our feelings are different, our rights should be the same.
I agree with you: men and women complement each other...that is why women were built...to complement, to guide, to teach men (such lovely creatures lol)!

    I respond:
When men and women are together in a complimentary fashion the dynamics are almost endless…

LS="Two Biblical texts are screaming at me on this topic…God speaking to Eve and Adam after their sin in the Garden…"

Max=This is a great passage, and I just read about it last Saturday (this is the second time it happens, LS lol). It is one of those passages that make me want to offend Eve "Look what you have done! Why did you have to be tha curious, woman?" but then I am reminded that there is a purpose for everything :)....

    I respond:
LOL It could have just as easily have been Adam…or me or you….

LS="Fortunately Jesus the Messiah (the Christ) has delivered us beyond this consequence of sin as we can be the children of restored relationship with each other and more importantly with God, children of the promise…"

    Max=Oh no...you were going so well.....LOL

    I respond:
LOL You have to admit that this passage written by Paul is a wonderful example of how Paul because of Jesus had a very high view of women…equal to men and complimentary…That passage is one that God has used in my life to completely turn my life around in how I regarded women…

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
    - - Galatians 3:26-29

This passage speaks wonderfully about the unity people can have in race and gender with Jesus….This passage touches my life and makes it clear that sexism and racism are wrong…we are to be complimentary…

    Excellent conversation……

  130. Hi LS!

"Sorry about the delay in response…."

Sorry for my tardy counter-response, darling!

    "LOL :)"

    I thought so...LOL....

"Excellent I jus thought I should make sure after reading this article….LOL"

LOL LOL the MAX is not about me in its entirety...you know that...

"Please give me a moment to note this date of agreement :) There got it!"

    LOL LOL LOL....

"Well if people are so blind or ignorant as to think sexism comes from only one gender or racism from only one race etc it is a good thing they are here so they can be educated by Maximus Educationus…well done…"

LOL LS, you are a true gentleman...thank you *bowing*!
Ignorance and blindness is quite common...this whole sexism and gender war issue is really starting to make me nauseous *nodding*....

"Afghanistan and Iraq have provided ample opportunity to do this but the difficulty with say US feminists is that most hate their own country similarly to those who protested against the military in the US but never about the USSR during the old cold war…."

    I totally hear you!

"They feel revolution at the success of their own nation so they try to pull it down…Certainly there are many women that have fled the Islamic Imperialistic world and have addressed these kinds of issues my shelves are full of their books…but the response in the west has been timid in this area…"

Do you think that it has been timid due to political reasons?

"How often do you see thousands of people protesting the plight of women in Saudi but they will set their hair on fire over some very silly things…"

True...and it is so ridiculous *nodding*!

"And I will comment on your comment as I see you have indeed gifted me with your thoughts on Life…."

It has been a wonderful conversation over at Life, LS...thank you!

"I mean men who in front of women talk the talk of an ultra woman’s rights kind of person and then are sexist as soon as women are out of hearing…"

LOL oh, those...they talk that talk because they want to get laid (pardon my bluntness)...

"I am speaking of many of those men who are pleased to be labelled metrosexuals…."

Metrosexuals are homosexuals who didn't come out of the closet yet. I invite them to stand proud and leave the closet - stop fooling yourself, and stop fooling women!!

"and men that feel guilt at their masculinity…"

Oh...to those I say: stand proud of your masculinity! Straight women like virile men...

"Both genders are wonderful at gift our species with a wonderful ability to partner and be complimentary…"

LS, I meant that acting as a man is boring (I mean, I like my collection of shoes, I like my several clothes; I like to take a lot of luggage with me when travelling; I like my stuff...men are too practical, too pragmatic...boring)...when one is a woman she must act like it: it is fantastic!
Would you, as a man, act like a woman? Would you find it interesting to wax, brow pluck, bikini wax? No.

"When men and women are together in a complimentary fashion the dynamics are almost endless…"

    I agree...

"LOL It could have just as easily have been Adam…or me or you…."

Oh no...not me....you perhaps or Adam LOL LOL....

"LOL You have to admit that this passage written by Paul is a wonderful example of how Paul because of Jesus had a very high view of women…equal to men and complimentary…That passage is one that God has used in my life to completely turn my life around in how I regarded women…"

    LOL LOL *no comments*...

"This passage speaks wonderfully about the unity people can have in race and gender with Jesus….This passage touches my life and makes it clear that sexism and racism are wrong…we are to be complimentary…"

I like it when you talk about yourself, LS...you are a beautiful human being, and I am glad you found your path!

    "Excellent conversation……"

    Indeed...indeed....:D
