US Foreign Policy Doctrine: A Tiger Can't Change Its Spots

And America has deceived the world well. Ever since power shifted in the White House, the entire globe has been hearing about a change in US Doctrine. This set of principles was lauded by some and loathed by others, but today we realise that much emotion was wasted in vain, because the American Policy to interfere in other countries' internal affairs has never really changed; nay, the only alteration was the way American Doctrine was applied to Foreign Policy.

"By altering his arrangements and changing his plans, he keeps the enemy without definite knowledge. By shifting his camp and taking circuitous routes, he prevents the enemy from anticipating his purpose" – idem

Meddling policies are nothing new to the United States of America. It's a known fact that, for example, the US fancied interfering in Latin-American politics, investing highly on deposing entire regimes with the pretext of spreading Democracy (within a Cold War context); however, today, under the latest administration, the US State and Justice Departments proceed with the paradigm with a twist: now it meddles in democracies to kick out leaders that go against Departments' view of the proper world order.

After the 9/11, many criticised President Bush for having told the world “Either you're with us or against us”; but in 2015, very few dare to criticise the present administration for insidiously acting upon those words.

To be against the US, nowadays, means to either defend one's national security (perceived as clashing with America's national interests) or to be outspoken about one's support for a particular US ally. Does it sound crazy to you? Good, because it is.
Jeremy Bird and his Team travelled to Israel, with US State Department's funds, to work towards the deposition of PM Netanyahu. As we all know, they used $350,000 of taxpayer money to fund anti-Israel NGO's to do their usual thing in an attempt to bring Bibi down and have him replaced by Isaac Herzog & Tzipi Livni – they failed.
Jeremy Bird and his Team travelled to Canada, probably with US State Department's funds, to work towards the replacement of PM Harper. We don't know how much money was poured into this operation yet but we do know that this time the enterprise was successful and Justin Trudeau won the elections – we wish Mr Trudeau well (may he place his country's collective interests before his ideology).
It would be interesting to know, however, where else did Bird Team poke its finger at the behest of the US government.

So what do these two examples suggest? They suggest that America, via democratic processes,  plans to weaken some of its close allies through the removal of the elements who openly offered them political support (having thus made America look weak and a backstabber – in the American perspective, of course). It's an interesting idea, albeit an emotional one (which says a lot about its architect); however this individual didn't predict the dangers of implementing such plan – and those who followed her/him didn't even bother to consider that for every action there's a reaction. All eyes are on the present Administration. While the Departments of State & Justice play the game of thrones against the White House, Russia is gaining ground and support – the Departments may believe that all is going according to their plan, but President Putin really trusts that the global system is anarchic and America isn't what it used to be.

They say that Reinhold Niebuhr's words serve as an inspiration to many bureaucrats, if so then it is safe to say that the US shadow leadership is the embodiment of the “fanaticism of moral idealists who are not conscious of the corruption of self-interest” because what Jeremy Bird's team has been doing is nothing but corruption for self-interest that is now turning against democracies and allies – what special interest groups manoeuvre America nowadays?
