Welcome to the new year. 2016 promises to be extremely interesting and we will be here to dissect the world once again. Because we are still in the celebratory mood, I will take it easy this week and brush over two subjects that caught my attention as 2015 bade farewell: the renewed Catholic-Jewish Brotherhood and Hillary Clinton's Chutzpah.
The Brotherly Love Between Catholics & Jews
In December, two rather curious statements were issued:
1. The Catholic Church, more precisely the Vatican, issued a document re-stating that Jews are “our elder brothers” (Pope John Paul II) and our “fathers in faith” (Pope Benedict XVI); that Jesus was indeed a Jew who lived according to the Jewish Tradition; and, the Church also declared that Jews are no longer the target of conversions.
2. A group of Orthodox Rabbis, just like Maimonides and Yehuda HaLevi before them, acknowledged that “Christianity is neither an accident nor an error, but the willed divine outcome and gift to the nations. In separating Judaism and Christianity, G-d willed a separation between partners with significant theological differences, not a separation between enemies. (...) We understand that there is room in traditional Judaism to see Christianity as part of G-d’s covenantal plan for humanity, as a development out of Judaism that was willed by G-d,”.
These two statements are of capital importance given the present world context:
- The fight against Global Jihad
- The Palestinian effort to fake Jesus' ID
- The widespread moral corruption
- The End of Days
Hillary Clinton's Email Scandal
This scandal is one of the most amusing political cases ever. So let's see if we all get it right: Mrs Clinton, as Secretary of State, used an insecure private server (located in her home loo) to send and receive emails (many of which holding classified information) when she was supposed to use the State Department's secure server; and now she wants to be the President of the United States of America. What's wrong with this scenario? Everything.
Several pieces have been written about this matter, so I will not bore you with details; however, a couple of questions must be asked:
- If women vote for Mrs Clinton just because she's a woman (while ignoring the national security threat she has posed [and probably still does] to the US), what does that say about the female electorate?
- Even though the DNC knew about the dubious luggage that Mrs Clinton carries, the party decided to endorse her for the candidacy; what does that say about the Democrat Party?
- In 2008, when Hillary Clinton fought to be the Democrat nominee for the Presidential race, her opposing camp organised grassroots activists to ask voters whether they really wanted to watch Hillary Clinton growing old before their eyes (though I never understood that strategy since all of them grow older, in a very poorly fashion, before our eyes): what changed now, why is everybody so willing to see her "grow old" before their eyes in 2016, when they refused to do it in 2008?
- Why does Mrs Clinton think she deserves to serve in office when she seems to have abused the State Department for self-gain? If she'd ever be elected as Commander-in-Chief, there's no guarantee that she wouldn't abuse the oval office to benefit her daughter's family, her friends, her connections and all of those who contributed heavily to her husband's foundation (an organisation that reportedly only gives 10% of total donations to charity).
I would like to see a woman in the White House too – since, in this aspect, America is lagging quite a bit; however, I wouldn't want to see a woman with a questionable political past inasmuch as we have seen what politicians that engage in dubious dealing can do to countries (e.g. Brasil's Lula da Silva and Dilma Rouseff; Portugal's José Sócrates; Israel's Ehud Olmert; Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe; South Africa's Jacob Zuma; Argentina's Cristina Fernández; Venezuela's Mario Maduro et al). Gender mumbo-jumbo (i.e. contemporary feminism) should not come before national interest and security.
The above two subjects alone, promise indeed an exciting 2016. So, ladies and gentlemen, join us as we proceed dissecting everything that surrounds us. Let's get cracking.

After having called Abbas an angel of peace and recognized that fake country, now we are all brothers? The beauty of politics. I'm not dropping one word on Clinton, she's as corrupt as any leftist politician!
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous :D!
DeleteWell, even the Church makes mistakes in the modern days :). But what matters is that both sides are finally getting it; they begin to understand G-d's Plan. All the rest is a distraction.
Many right wingers are also corrupt, but leftists seem to suffer from the disease more; yes.
Anon, thank you so much for your comment :D.
Cheers
I'd prefer to vote for Trump than to have Clinton as president. That woman is rotten and plays dirty politics. This email scandal is proof of that.
ReplyDeleteHi Jake :D!
DeleteLOL let's not exaggerate...
I would say that this email scandal shows us that most leftist "humanitarian" politicians, who publicise their causes, are always veiled by a shroud of corruption?
Jake, thank you so much for your comment :D.
Cheers
I am all for having the Catholics get along with the Jews, but something seems a little askew to me. The Pope just seemed to claim that all religions are alike, which comes from populist secular theology and is consistent with his rejection of Christianity. But maybe I am the one confused. I am warm to Jews because of the principles of Christianity that I hold to. Anyway, my prayer is that the "religion of peace" might be a bit less homicidal for 2016.
ReplyDeleteAs for Hillary, I think her success says far less about her than it does about 40% of the American electorate. Most have been fed a diet of leftist poison for so long that that that they truly believe that victory by any means possible is both legitimate and absolutely necessary. Hillary is clearly the woman for the job.
Looney, this Pope rows against the current in the Vatican. Not everybody agrees with him and many regret the election. Right now there are opposing forces within the Vatican itself, there is a crisis though all is kept hush hush.
DeleteA Catholic, May God empower the Christians in the Vatican!
DeleteHi Looney :D!
DeletePope Francis is not the most loved pope, that's for sure. To me, he sounds awfully communist and politics should have no place in the Vatican, not again; but they elected a Red Pope...so, what can we do? Furthermore, I sense that Pope Francis is a tad racist (and his trip to Africa did not change my opinion on that). Having said this, I agree with A Catholic: there seems to be a rift within the Church, where some say A and others say B; where some work towards C and others towards D - let's see who prevails.
Then, all I can say is: G-d Protect the United States of America because hard times are coming.
Looney, thank you so much for your super comment :D.
Cheers
Looney,I think I understand what you mean. It's too controversial. But God will protect His Church like He has so many times before. We need to pray more than ever.
DeleteCatholics and Jews are desperately trying to survive but they must know religion is going to be cured as the cancer it is! I don't care that Hillary Clinton used a personal server cause she knew what she was doing, I trust her judgement! And Max, you say you want a woman in the white house? Prove it and support Hillary! This is our time now!
ReplyDeleteHi Celia :D!
DeleteYou do not know what you are talking about and I'd suggest you read more about both religion and human nature, then decide where the problem really lies.
Ah, so you trust the judgement of suspected corrupted people? That says a lot about you.
"And Max, you say you want a woman in the white house? Prove it and support Hillary! This is our time now!"
First, I'm not American; so I don't have to support any of the American candidates.
Second, if I were American and I wanted to prove I wanted a woman at the WH I'd support Carly Fiorina (it's a shame her message doesn't resonate with the American electorate because they are too busy being entertained by Donald Trump).
Third, don't give me that feminist BS: I'm pro-femina but women must deserve my support (I don't do it blindly just because they have a vagina, I analyse everything about them the same way I do it with men).
And a word of advice: in this blog, we respect religion, we believe in the necessity of its existence, so if you do not wish to respect our ethos don't visit us and don't leave stupid comments.
Cheers
