Love De Profundis

Entity came to me from the past
Love tale announced, the spell cast.
Illimitable sentiment feeds my being
Ossifies my core, and pledges to last...

I remember the first day I saw thee…
Our eyes met and the world stopped. We met: the Sun and Moon stood still; the oceans didn’t reach the shore; people didn’t breathe; babies wished to witness the event before being born. You and I met and the Angels sung: May life begin!

Thou hast the sweetest scent.
My nose fancies to scrutinise every single ingredient spewed by your delightful pores: sandal, cinnamon, cloves, pheromones, endorphins, love and passion mixed along with my name…thou hast the sweetest scent indeed.

Thy lips are the gates to heaven.
When you talk, melodic words flow through your luscious lips; wisdom, intellectuality, geniality and knowledge are the discography produced by your mouth.
Your kiss reveals a world of exotic flavours; it unravels the mysteries of an obscure past; it lifts the veil of my most hidden desires; it transports my being back Home…yes, thy lips are the gates to heaven.

Passing thee an object is a thrill.
The warmth of your skin; the energy it emanates is soothing and peaceful. Whenever you pass by me your awake every single cell in my flesh…it is like you remind them of what they are here for…whenever I hand you a book or anything else and your hand or finger brushes against mine…oh what a thrill it is.

The finest of the finest…
Your essence was created in the midst of Excellence. When you landed upon your sacred temple and were submitted to matter’s inconveniences, you managed to keep your seed intact as a gift to me.
I see you beyond flesh; I read the very core of you and thus I have accepted you exactly the way you are (I wouldn’t change a thing about you)…

It is more than Love what I feel for you.

These words are dedicated to all of those who love, have loved, and will love profoundly!

  1. Max,

I really enjoyed this elegant post. I can tell that the beautiful song called love is pumping through your heart and Soul. And what wonderful music for the heart to dance.

This is a breathtaking love letter to all of those who ever felt love or wanted to know what love feels like. Love makes us stand up. It accentuates our beingness and propels us into perpetual undulation. It's an exquisite river that flows from the heavens into our Souls.

"I remember the first day I saw thee…Our eyes met and the world stopped."

Perhaps the world started to move from the inside when the eyes opened the floodgates to love. I know what you mean. It's like waking up in a dream and pinching yourself to make sure you are awake.

This reminds me of a quote from Rainer Maria Rilke, "I feel it now...there's a power in me to grasp and give shape to my world. I know that nothing has ever been real without my beholding it."

You are beholding it and it is beholding you.

"When you talk, melodic words flow through your luscious lips; wisdom, intellectuality, geniality and knowledge are the discography produced by your mouth."

    Delightful.

"Your kiss reveals a world of exotic flavours; it unravels the mysteries of an obscure past; it lifts the veil of my most hidden desires; it transports my being back Home…yes, thy lips are the gates to heaven."

    Magnificent.

"It is more than Love what I feel for you."

Eureka, you've found it ! When we love, we realize that there is more to love than love. The plot thickens and the story becomes a white knuckler. (when you hold on to a thrill ride so tightly that your knuckles turn white.)

"These words are dedicated to all of those who love, have loved, and will love profoundly!"

These words are dedicated to you - Thank you. Thank you for sharing the love that is overflowing form your heart. Let it flow. The more it flows out, the more it flows in.

    A lovely piece.

    Lovely Cheers.

  2. Perfect capture of love at first sight... I can tell you experienced the feeling otherwise, you wouldn't be able to write about them so well.

It feels like time has stopped when you meet someone you love.

  3. Dear Alexys,

"I really enjoyed this elegant post. I can tell that the beautiful song called love is pumping through your heart and Soul. And what wonderful music for the heart to dance." - thank you so much, darling *bowing*! I am so glad that you enjoyed it :D! Indeed, it is...what can I say? I have love wrapped around me :).

"This is a breathtaking love letter to all of those who ever felt love or wanted to know what love feels like." - thank you, lovely :D!

"Love makes us stand up. It accentuates our beingness and propels us into perpetual undulation. It's an exquisite river that flows from the heavens into our Souls." - my Lord...how beautiful, my sista!!! I couldn't have said it better *bowing*!

"This reminds me of a quote from Rainer Maria Rilke, "I feel it now...there's a power in me to grasp and give shape to my world. I know that nothing has ever been real without my beholding it."" - powerful quote! This is what we feel when we are in love; it is like life, before meeting the significant other, wasn't real, or that we weren't even alive; but once we find ourselves embraced by the power of love not only it offers a new shape to our world, but it also feels like a new breath was exhaled into our nostrils! Rebirth!

"You are beholding it and it is beholding you." - totally! :D

"Delightful (..) Magnificent." - thank you *bowing*!

"Eureka, you've found it ! When we love, we realize that there is more to love than love. The plot thickens and the story becomes a white knuckler. (when you hold on to a thrill ride so tightly that your knuckles turn white.)" - this is beautifully describe! Yes, that is exactly what it feels like...ah, ma petite connoisseuse of love :D!

"These words are dedicated to you - Thank you. Thank you for sharing the love that is overflowing form your heart. Let it flow. The more it flows out, the more it flows in." - you are welcome, my dear friend :D! I will let it flow *bowing*! You, me and all of those who love, loved and will love are extremely blessed :D!

"A lovely piece." - thank you!

And thank you for these amazing words...you are an Angel of love *bowing*!

    Angel of love Cheers.

  7. Hi Max! You blew me out of the water with this one. I realise when I comment I can't help but read too much into things. Another fault of mine, so forgive me.

Having got that out of the way, are these beautiful and love chiseled words dedicated to anyone we know? Sounds like it! Oops! Did it again.

    Take Care,
    Peter

  13. Hello Shan!

"What a nice post, you did it yourself?" - lol yes, I did it myself; buddy! If I hadn't I would have introduced the author's name!

"Though I feel love's overrated or maybe that's just me hahaha... i'm just sad and disillusioned :)" - love is never overrated! Au contraire...love is the sap of life: it nourishes us, it keeps us alive! You will see when you fall in love :)! Nooo, don't be sad, you are too young for that, man! Open up to life and let the rest go...that is my advice to you!

Thanks for having dropped by; it is always a pleasure to see you here :D!

  16. Hello Max…..

Well finally once again stepping out into the paths of the blogosphere….

It is good to start out energized, some take multi-vitamins in the morning I am beginning my blog walk with Multi-Max…..

The image for this article is exquisite! The decorous detail, sensual shading, and vivid colours conspire masterfully! What led you to use this art for this article?

Your words that have clearly grown from the seeds of personal experience provide a luxuriant shade upon which to consider such a noble sentiment…..

It has folds of Song of Songs yet the curvature of unique potential, surprise, and benefaction….

My curiosity is peaked with High capped words such as “Angels”, “Home”, “Excellence”, and “Love”…..

One of my favorite parts about this Max is the dedication at the end, and the last two words “love profoundly”. To many this is hyperbole; to many it is delusion, to many this is foolishness. To others is breathes wonder into life, for some it breathes life into lives of dust….

A delicate, yet robust, glorious navigation upon the contours, shades, architecture, life and blends of love like a rose….you held the stem so we could enjoy the sent…I thank you…

  17. Love at first sight.... that magical moment that we hold on to forever.

Max, you have such a warm way with words, of expressing and of sharing.

This poem reminds me of that flutter we have in our tummy, that tremble we have in our knees, that tingle we feel in the heart.... when we meet a loved one.

A wonderful poem by a wonderful person. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

  18. I think nothing can be more beautiful than this in this entire universe...the feeling somehow I think just can't be described in words, it can only be felt...only when you enjoy the beauty of pure love then you can get transported to this magical world when you will feel each and every moment of your life & will crave to hold it forever...wonderfully written post Max...you have crafted the essence so nicely...have a wonderful weekend!

  23. Hi Max

I left a comment earlier but it didn't show up...must be finger trouble on my part.

This is absolutely wonderful work. I especially love the line
Your kiss reveals a world of exotic flavours; it unravels the mysteries of an obscure past; it lifts the veil of my most hidden desires; it transports my being back Home…yes, thy lips are the gates to heaven.

Beautiful. Well done my dear :-)

  24. Hello LS!

Welcome back to the MAX, my friend; Prince of the Blade :D!

"Well finally once again stepping out into the paths of the blogosphere…." - and the blogosphere missed your valuable intellect; trust me *bowing*!

"It is good to start out energized, some take multi-vitamins in the morning I am beginning my blog walk with Multi-Max…." - LOL LOL LOL that was a good one LOL LOL *nodding*!

"The image for this article is exquisite! The decorous detail, sensual shading, and vivid colours conspire masterfully! What led you to use this art for this article?" - well, the countess looks like she is in love, doesn't she? I am guessing that the model used by Frederico de Madrazo was deeply in love with the artist...so, I found it so "a propos"!
I first saw it in "El País" online (a Spanish newspaper) when displaying the refurbished Museo del Prado, and I immediately fell in love with it!

"Your words that have clearly grown from the seeds of personal experience provide a luxuriant shade upon which to consider such a noble sentiment….." - thank you, my friend *bowing*! I am glad you could read so much into my humble words...

"It has folds of Song of Songs yet the curvature of unique potential, surprise, and benefaction…" - wow! I didn't know you were a critic too...I loved your review *bowing*!

"My curiosity is peaked with High capped words such as “Angels”, “Home”, “Excellence”, and “Love”…" - lol how can I quench your curiosity, my dear chap?

"One of my favorite parts about this Max is the dedication at the end, and the last two words “love profoundly”. To many this is hyperbole; to many it is delusion, to many this is foolishness. To others is breathes wonder into life, for some it breathes life into lives of dust…" - The dedication is a gift for my readers; cause love is such an important component in life, wouldn't you agree? Well, people are entitled to have their own opinion on things. But I can tell you that those who have loved, love and will love profoundly grasp (and will grasp) perfectly what I conveyed through these words.

"A delicate, yet robust, glorious navigation upon the contours, shades, architecture, life and blends of love like a rose….you held the stem so we could enjoy the sent…I thank you…" - you are most welcome, LS :D!

And I thank you for such a wonderful comment and review; I am much obliged *bowing*!

It is nice to have you back :D!

    Cheers

And the flutter, the tremble and the tingle are just delightful feelings, aren't they?

"A wonderful poem by a wonderful person. Thank you so much for sharing it with us." - you, my friend, are extremely kind; may God bless you! It was my pleasure to share it with all of you *bowing*!
