The freemasonry is not a secret society, it is a society with secrets - although with the ever increasing number of lodges and members, I am not sure whether the true spirit of freemasonry stands or if its secrets remain being so well kept. Notwithstanding, its influence remains spectacular in many corners of the world.
Other societies, far more secret, holding only one secret or two remain impermeable and may one day surpass the level of influence exerted by the freemasonry. Competition is healthy, however occasional collaboration is even healthier, especially these days. Therefore, sharing intelligence is advisable.
The world is changing and thus must any society. Keeping up with the times is crucial for the survival of any group and when it doesn't know where change is leading the organisation to, then it needs to help creating that change. For instance, the French and Portuguese masonry have thrived on public companies on one hand, while preaching for economic liberalism (Euro-definition) on the other - this position poses a contradiction and sets the proper environment for corruption. Nay, the freemasonry - as other societies - need to learn how to thrive in other sectors to avoid collapses (yes, it is possible).
When you play with the boys everything runs smoothly. You don't necessarily have to belong to the club, however depending on the situation it is convenient for you to cooperate with its elements; and this is what idealists don't seem to understand.
The anarchists, other race of leftists and conspiracy theorists will claim that secret societies and societies with secrets are the root of all evil around the world. I beg to differ because ever since such societies shared the designs of society at large with aimless ambitious individuals, things began going sour.
Aye, the freemasonry has made a lot of mistakes; they have become greedy and fossilised; however, we must remember that when they were impervious and cooperated with secret organisations, the world didn't know:
- Political correctness
- Pretentiousness
- Corrosive corruption
- Amorality
- Multiculturalism
- Opinionatedness
- Social Disorder
- Disrespect
What had been established as being right, just and proper has been placed in the hands of reprehensible lackeys who have perverted the vocabulary and forgot who shared Knowledge with them. This fact has proved that one can never lead from behind.
Even if you wish to pull strings without overwhelming the puppets, they still must see your face; for if you sit back and let them play at will, they will forget where they came from and bite the hand that fed them.

What are you suggesting? More elites to come and control our societies, isn't that a set back the rights acquired? We fought hard to get us here! Is it perfect? No, but at least we all rule!! You want to take us back to a time when the bourgeois ruled!!

DeleteWell, if we all rule then we have done a very poor job, don't you think so? It should makes us re-think our ability to do so.
Societal order is imperative to keep our values and traditions; therefore, yes, I am suggesting that the real elites (not the ones created by leftists, that only focus on making money for themselves by exploiting the majority) wake up from their slumber and regain control of things for the common good. It is possible.
But this is only a snippet of what I propose to get things back on track...stay tuned.

Celia, I remember you said once that only 1% ruled the world with that 1% stupid conversation by the Occupy X movement. So how can you now say that we ALL rule? And obviously I'm not part of that cause if I were ruling things wouldn't have got this bad, with your pro-Pali friends threatening everybody and disturbing the peace all across Europe!
DeleteThe Free Masons that I know, my late father was one, do a great deal of good social work in total anonymity. I was under a lot of pressure from some very good friends to become one and I simply could not find the time to spare during those days. I wish that I had.

DeleteYes, indeed. But now you have so many lodges that take pride in telling everybody they are masons - it's shameful. There was a time when Masons did good and had a common purpose - can we still say the same today? It would depend on the definition of "good" and "common purpose" of today's freemasonry.
I know a few good people who have been in your position. I think you guys should've joined it, who knows if the society with secrets wouldn't have been better :)

It's true when these societies ran the show, there was more order. Nowadays, things have got so bad that many people are beginning to be afraid of walking in the streets. Multiculturalism has failed! Communists unleashed a dragon that has grown uncontrolled.

Don't know much about this subject. I don't belong to any society, never have and probably never will so I can't have much saying in this, but I'd welcome some deletion of the multiculturalism that is plaguing our society! Scotland voted "No" for independence: now the shit will start hitting the fan! I feel for Camy.
