Everybody wants to appease somebody, and for it to take effect, some are forging new epithets and labels (e.g. a commoner, in England, is not longer called that way; a commoner now is called a "normal person"). This made me ponder on what other epithets we could come up with, as certain layers of society become more and more sensitive - to the point of needing to be pacified. Pentagram (Source: Google Images) The freemasonry is not a secret society, it is a society with secrets - although with the ever increasing number of lodges and members, I am not sure whether the true spirit of freemasonry stands or if its secrets remain being so well kept. Notwithstanding, its influence remains spectacular in many corners of the world. Other societies, far more secret, holding only one secret or two remain impermeable and may one day surpass the level of influence exerted by the freemasonry. Competition is healthy, however occasional collaboration is even healthier, especially these days. Therefore, sharing intelligence is advisable.

I have been a Euro-enthusiast since I was 16; however I am beginning to understand the Euro-sceptics... The European Union (EU) was created under the guise of bringing prosperity to all its members. I remember that, little after the Maastricht Treaty was signed, there was this concern that the traditions and culture of each country-member would be affected - people were not too keen on having Brussels interfering with their way of life.
