The US announced that it will withdraw circa 2,000 troops from Syria. This announcement sent shockwaves throughout both America and Israel (and even France got in the mix) – but is there truly cause for so much distress? If you are a military contractor and supplier, yes, there is huge cause for concern for - after all - you won’t be able to continue over-charging the US Government with supplies for the troops. If you are a creative politician, analyst or intelligence officer then you see a huge opportunity to change how the game is played. If you are in the know, then you know all the pieces are simply falling into place.
Iran Should be Afraid, Very Afraid
After the White House announcement, Tehran celebrated the move to give the impression that the US had repeated George W. Bush’s mistake when he handed them Iraq on a Silver Platter (by refusing to negotiate with the former Saddam military officers – who later on gave birth to ISIS). However, that is not the case this time. President Trump didn’t offer the Ayatollahs Syria; au contraire, he offered Syria to the Lion of Zion.
Donald Trump has been informed of what is going to happen in the Middle East and simply removed his troops out of the way for two-pronged reasons: to save millions of over-charged bills and to save his men’s and women’s lives.
Turkey Shouldn’t Feel Comfortable
Turkey is reportedly taking credit for having convinced President Trump to withdraw from Syria since ISIS only retained 1% of the so-called Caliphate and Turkey, Syria and Russia have the means to deal with the Terrorist Organisation; thus, it made no sense for the US to remain in the area. Reports also claim that POTUS accepted the argument as a valid one and even John Bolton, the National Security Adviser, had been forced to agree; however, it seems like President Trump made a Sun Tzu move:
"By altering his arrangements and changing his plans, he keeps the enemy without definite knowledge. By shifting his camp and taking circuitous routes, he prevents the enemy from anticipating his purpose"
President Erdogan shouldn't feel that comfortable: he doesn’t have that much sway over the US (and he never will). Does Turkey really think the US forgot that Ankara sponsored ISIS, that it bought their oil; that the only reason it got involved in the “War against ISIS” was to attack Kurdish forces and weaken Al-Assad? Does Istanbul think we forgot that it shot down a Russian Jet (because Moscow does everything it can to keep Al-Assad in power)? Does Mr Erdogan think we forgot he harboured Terrorist Groups in his country and openly supports them? Does Turkey think we overlook the fact that it occupies Cyprus?
“President Erdogan of Turkey has very strongly informed me that he will eradicate whatever is left of ISIS in Syria....and he is a man who can do it," (POTUS) - everything is quite on schedule, ב"ה, as the US is not part of the Gog and Magog War...but Turkey is. Russia is too.
Israel, Open Your Eyes and See
"'Fear not: for they that are with us are more than they that are with them.' And Elisha prayed, and said: 'LORD, I pray to you, open his eyes, that he may see.' And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw; and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha." - 2 King 6:16-17
The IDF is right: some people’s reaction is exaggerated. And PM Netanyahu’s posture has thus far been impeccable – we hope he is ready for the next phase though (no time for hesitations or prolonged calculations).
Israel has nothing to fear because the Jewish State is protected by the King of Kings but it still needs to do its part: now that Syria has been handed over on a Silver Platter to Jerusalem, it needs to make a harsh decision – one that will be definite and in accordance with the Plan.
A War is coming. It will be a decisive War for our Survival. It will last a long time and so the Jewish People must be readied for it – the Israeli Government and the Civil Society (especially the Rabbinate) must start preparing the population’s mind because it won’t be easy but we will all make it, for Am Yisrael always makes it. HaGeulah is here but, as always, we must fight for it – both physical and spiritually ב"ה.
As the Highlanders would say: let’s get them bastards!
Conclusion
The US withdrawal from Syria is causing panic for several reasons (loss of business opportunities, exit from comfort zones, fear of change etc) however, nothing stays the same and old formulas are not working. So let’s try something new, let’s allow new players in and implement a new paradigm - one that will allow the whole mankind to prosper in security for a very long time. Syria will be fine: Special Forces will still be operating in the region in smaller numbers but more effectively. ‘All warfare is based on deception’…
Is the world ready?

I am ready for whatever, Max! And yes, let's get them bastards and get our Land back!!!
ReplyDeleteTrump did well to leave and save his boys' ass.
Macron is reeling cause it leaves him a difficult position cause now he is left alone as opposition to Russia without having the US to blame for everything. The US does well to size down her presence in Syria to focus on rebuilding America #MAGA.
ReplyDeleteWhether the world is ready or not, many right thinking Indians believe that the move is good for the long term effect on Israel and even Syria itself.
ReplyDeleteTrump did well and Israel will be fine!

So much ado about nothing. It goes to show how change-resistant politicians are even though they preach about change in every political campaign.
ReplyDelete"President Trump didn’t offer Syria to Iran; au contraire, he offered Syria to Israel" - this says it all.
So, President Trump is more a political Al Capone than Obama, right Max?
