One Ricky Gervais is an awesome comedian: cheers, mate! I didn’t know that celebrities were such sensitive and humourless creatures. I mean, one strives to be a public figure; it does things that damage its image; its whole life is exposed on magazines (being, thus, the theme of many dinner parties...for some odd reason); and then it doesn’t want to be the target of comedians? When I was younger, I remember looking forward to watching the Oscars; the Grammys, the Emmys etc (for they were funny, entertaining and beautiful)...but since the 9/11 it seems like people feel guilty for being alive and celebrating things. This being said, award ceremonies, since then, have been boring to death. Then, came the Golden Globes 2011 and Gervais: naughty, provocative, intelligent and extremely hilarious (I laughed to tears all the way through it). By Stephen Cheney Intro Here, we continue with investigations into the workings of the mind. Terrorists/radicals do not appear to suffer from PTSD: Why is that? Ordinary persons may kill, such as in war, but they do not conduct campaigns of torture and death; unless they become radicalized. Becoming radicalized is a mental process, often a brainwashing process. Those who are radicalized, terrorists being a prime example, commit vicious crimes to instil fear, or at least achieve the cowardice of non-opposition to their rule, bending the knees of all to their authority. Experiencing, or even just seeing, such viciousness and the pain of the innocent can shift the minds of less radical humans into a state of PTSD. Picture a shopping mall. Inside, there are cute little different stores; each one with appealing products for the market they target. However, there are segments of the market that take pleasure in making shopping decisions that make no sense at all; revealing, thus, a profound sense of confusion and incoherence (all under the flag of freedom of choice). Maxiavelli: Abortion Contraceptives & Christendom

The Bible is quite explicit about several rules of conduct, but it speaks not of abortion. So, is abortion a religious matter? I don’t think it is. Abortion is an ethical matter. Ethics basically discusses concepts of right and wrong behaviour and it includes the notion of consequentialism . I am against abortion ; notwithstanding, I refuse to impose my ethical position on others for two reasons: a) I believe in personal choice; b) I believe in reaction to one’s actions; therefore I believe in Karma. This being said, I believe that killing a human life (and there’s no point in sugar-coating it: abortion equals to taking a life which) will bring consequences – both physical and spiritual – despite the reasons why a female undergoes such procedures.
